Surprise!

Ross' POV

It was a normal friday. Ugh how I hate them Fridays ;( I was all alone in the house. Laura was at school and I decided to ditch even though I shouldn't, mom and dad were at a cousins house and my siblings were... somewhere I wasn't supposed to know.. huh.. weird.. not that I even cared.. ha-ha this is the time where you say "hey ross! You rhymed!

Anyways... I was still bored out of my mind. not even coloring books or stuffed animals could cheer me up not even pancakes... wait.. pancakes could cheer me up.. but I didnt know how to make any so.. I'm screwed.. Laura could've made the best pancakes.. I can feel my mouth watering already..

SHUT UP ROSS!! okay let's think about something else I can do.. Hmmph I have an idea!!! it's something I've always wanted since I was small!! I quickly dashed to my room and opened my wallet. YES!! I have the money!!! I took out my phone and decided to text Laura about it.

Rossr5: Hey Laur! :* sorry I couldn't come today!! I miss youuu also come over to my house later!! I have an awesome surprise waiting!!! reply as fast as you can.

I smiled and closed the phone. shes gonna love this surprise!!

Laura's POV
Mr. mark was so fun!!! he was teaching us history!!!!! that so fun! can't wait to show ross what I learned. I'm also gonna kill him for ditching school today.. my phone vibrated. I quickly hid it under my book. no one saw. phew close one.. I got it out and opened a text message I received. Ross..

I thought what this "surprise" would be. what if it's something bad?!!? I can't get pregnant!!! wait Laura you're going nuts!! he won't get you pregnant.. he's a good boyfriend.. but he didn't even come to school to stay close to me.. what if he's home with another girl!!? he can't be cheating on me can he??? i replied quick

I closed my flip phone and stressed during the rest of class until school ended. I walked to Ross' house still nervous on what the surprise was.. quietly, I knocked on his front door. I heard something fall and then small feet running. I looked at the door and saw a doggie door... wait.. Ross never has this-

Out of nowhere two furry paws jumped on me tackling me to the ground. I gasped and giggled as it was tickling me everywhere. I heard running and then a familiar blonde yelling.
"Bolt!!! Come here!!" ross came running, then smiled as he saw me.
"Surprise!!!" he smiled cheekily like a little kid. I laughed. We walked inside as I was still carrying bolt.
"Bolt? how'd you get that name?.." I said looking at the golden retriever with huge hazel eyes like Ross'
"His name was supposed to be.. ummm never mind.." He said clearing his throat. I raised an eyebrow.
"What was it supposed to be?..." I said still curious. he looked down.
"Rainbow-shy.." He said blushing obviously embarrassed. I lifted his head up and kissed him. he smiled as I did too.
"I like that name!!!" I said throwing my hands up. he chuckled.
"I kinda figured.. and she doesn't listen to me when I call her bolt.. only rainbow-shy.." he said giving me a toothy grin. I giggled.
"He's apart of the family now!" ross said smiling. I shot him a confused look.
"What family?"
"Our family." he said hugging me. our family.. it sounds perfect
