From the latest chapter in "A Certain Magical Fate Book 3: Ruler," Mordred opened an account in Twitter as MordredTheNerd. And her icon is herself wearing a pair of glasses.
So, I just whipped out that Mordred was wearing the glasses because Mikoto picked it for her to wear just for fun during one of their many dates. However, when Mordred picked up a glasses for Mikoto to wear, Mikoto felt her eyes were getting hurt from seeing through the glasses.
