I used to be happy. My family and I were always together. We would smile and have good times.
But suddenly, everything changed. My older sister left our family to marry some rich man. After leaving us, my parents have been fighting a lot, up to the point where my dad ran away with our money to Seoul. All he left behind was a letter written for me.
My mother started to get sick so I had to take care of her. I ended up working a lot more and getting more tired. I later found out that mother had cancer and in order for her to live I must work two times harder than I already was.
I was too afraid to lose my mother, so instead of working, I went to borrow money from loan sharks.
(A/N: if you don't know what are loan sharks, well they are people you ask money from but you have a limited time to pay them back, if not they will come for you.)
Unfortunately, when I paid the hospital bills, I found out mother was gone.
I was too late.
I wasn't able to save my mother.
I was now all alone.
But there was one person I would still be able to see.
My father.
That's when I took the letter dad left me and stared at it.
From there, I made my decision.
I was going to Seoul.
