Yoongi's Past

3rd Person P.O.V.
Her arms were wrapped around her backpack tightly as she ran. Her eyes were closed out of fear while her body was going wherever it wanted. The men's voices were fading away as she ran faster and faster. She stopped and opened her eyes finding herself in the middle of the street.

It was empty. There was just a road and she was standing in the middle of it. The men that were running after her were gone. A light was shining on top of her showing her small figure in the dark.

Suddenly, everything started to disappear one by one. The road was gone and there were no buildings. It was pitch darkness.

She then heard a noise. A loud noise coming towards her. It was the noise of a horn.

Her body turned to where the noise was coming from and the first thing she saw was a car coming her way.

It didn't make sense. There was no road. There was nothing. But that one car was there.

That one car drove towards her without stopping and she just stood there. Her body froze just like that.

The car came closer and closer. The sound of the horn was louder.

Her hands were still wrapped around her bag but more tightly than ever.

"This is it..." she mumbled.

"AAAH!" Yelled MinYoung as she sat up from the bed.

Yoongi barged into the room and immediately made his way towards MinYoung.

"MinYoung! What's wrong!? Are you alright!?" He yelled.

MinYoung felt a bit relaxed as soon as she saw Yoongi enter the room.

"A dream..." she mumbled.

She felt a tear roll down her cheek. She didn't know why she was tearing up. Her fingers brushed her cheek as she wiped away the warm tear. Her head slowly lifted up to stare at Yoongi's eyes.

His eyes looked dark and scary, but then again they showed a hint of care and affection.

"What am I doing here...?" MinYoung Asked.

Yoongi ruffled his hair not knowing how to respond. He let out a sigh and looked at her again.

"I brought you here..."

"You kicked me out..." MinYoung said as she faced down.

"Well, I said I would let you stay for a month and that's what I'm going to do. Besides, I can't leave a girl walk around Seoul alone when she doesn't even remember who she is."

MinYoung lifted her head up and looked at Yoongi again. Yoongi really meant what he said and MinYoung knew it. Hearing him say that made a smile form on her lips.

"Thank you..." She softly said.

Yoongi stared at MinYoung smiling at him. He didn't know why, but her smile lit him up.

Yoongi was never really the kind to be in a good mood. He would always roll around his bed when he was free and he was always grumpy when he was at work. But for some reason, MinYoung's presence just made things a bit better around him.

Yoongi couldn't help but smile at the view in front of him. The side of his lips curved up and his teeth showed.

"I like your smile..." said MinYoung "it's like a gummy bear."

"Did you just call me a gummy bear?"

"Yeah! Because of your Gummy Smile!" She added.

Yonngi couldn't help but let out a light chuckle at the way she thinks of his smile.

MinYoung's smile slowly faded away when a thought crossed her mind. She really wanted to ask him something, but she wasn't sure she should.

"Yoongi..." she softly said as she stared at him with a serious expression. "What were those pictures about? The one with the basketball. Were you a basketball player?"

Yoongi's smile also disappeared as he heard her question. He kept staring at her as he thought of the old times. MinYoung quickly noticed the change of expression and decided it was better not to know.

"You don't have to tell me!"

Yoongi sat on the edge of the bed as he looked at the basketball laying in the corner of the room. A soft smile formed on his face as he stared at the basketball.

"I used to play basketball with a small team. No one really knew us, but we never really played for fame. It was just for fun. Then one day, we won for the first time. Ever since that win, we became really hard working and started to train more than usual. Because I wanted to pursue a life in basketball, I worked less in school, which I regret very much now. I should've continued studying because I never knew that an accident would stop me from playing basketball again. I broke my wrist because of an aggressive player on the other team. The broken wrist lasted for about a month, but it was still fragile. Which is why I keep a bandage tied around my wrist to make sure I don't hurt it." Explained Yoongi.

"Then why don't you play again? If you're healed, you should do what you love the most. It's better than working at the restaurant."

"I'm afraid to break it again" Replied Yoongi as he took a glance at his wrist.

MinYoung slowly grabbed Yoongi's wrist and started to take off the bandage. Yoongi was a bit taken aback by the sudden touch. Instead of staring at MinYoung's hand taking the bandage off his wrist, he was staring at MinYoung's side view.

He didn't know what he felt. It was a weird feeling.

Yoongi has met lots of different girls during his work time at the restaurant. Almost every girl tried to flirt with him when he tried to get their orders. Of course, the person he is, he always coldly rejected them.

But for some reason, MinYoung made him want to act differently.

He didn't understand what he was feeling, but he definitely liked it.
