Chapter 7

Wendy is lying on her bed, listening to music on speakers with her eyes closed

The song went on and Wendy felt a tear fell from her eye

"What is this? Am I crying? But why?" Wendy thought while wiping her tears continuously falling from her eyes

"Andwae~ I can't be crying" she sighed fighting her tears "But I AM crying! I'm hurting. Yes I'm hurt and I can't deny it" Wendy is talking to herself in her head "Why Seulgi why? Why can't you love me? No... The real question is why do I love you in the first place? Yes, I love you Kang Seulgi! I love you so damn much! But I can't seem to find the right time to tell you this" Wendy seems lost in her thoughts. Her tears are unending

"Why didn't you wait for me? Why are you so naive? Why Irene unnie? Out of all the people you can fall inlove with, why Irene unnie? Why not me?" Wendy covered her face with her blanket she's crying so hard she couldn't hold it anymore

"Why Seulgi why!?" She unconsciously shouted on top of her lungs

That same moment, Yeri was about to get Wendy to eat downstairs when she heard her shouting.

"Ne unnie? Why are you shouting? Are you on the phone with Seulgi unnie?" Yeri asked while walking towards Wendy's bed

Wendy panicked upon hearing Yeri's voice. Her eyes wide open and quickly wiped her tears still under her blanket

"Ani. It's just that...." Wendy said sniffing

Yeri sat beside her facing her back

"Unnie, let's eat! Let's order chicken..." Yeri said while forcefully turning Wendy to face her. And when she saw Wendy's face "Omo! Unnie were you crying? Why? What's wrong? Tell me.... who made you cry?" Yeri was so worried that made Wendy burst in tears. She sat down still crying with her hands covering her face. Yeri hugged her and just let her cry her heart out. Yeri was just patting her unnie's back and occasionally telling her to stop crying

"What is it unnie? Tell me..."

Yeri can't seem to stop her from crying. She just let her be. A few moments later, Wendy finally calmed down. Yeri broke the hug and put her hands on Wendy's shoulders "Come on unnie, tell me everything, I'm here to listen" Yeri said while wiping the last teardrop on Wendy's face

"Kumawo Yerim-ah..."

"What's with the sad song on repeat anyway? That's you and Seulgi unnie's song right?" Yeri asked "Let's turn this off for now okay? So you won't cry anymore. It's such a sad song" Yeri stood up and turned off the music player

Wendy was just quiet staring blankly outside

"What is it unnie? Why were you crying? I haven't seen you in this condition ever since I met you. What's wrong? Who made you cry?" Yeri sat back beside Wendy

"Yerim-ah, promise me you won't tell this to anyone and you won't hate me" Wendy asked while holding Yeri's both hands. Yeri was so shocked hearing this "It must be so serious unnie. Of course, I won't. I promise. I can't hate you. As much as I want to but I can't" she said jokingly and laughed Wendy just smiled weakly.

Wendy told Yeri everything. Two hours passed and they finished their heart-felt conversation. She was so shocked, but Wendy was more shocked upon hearing Yeri's revelation...
