First off, I've been trying really hard to meet my set dates (which I think I have been so far) so thanks for waiting so well for each update. It's much appreciated.

So, recently I've been going over the plot line for this series that I have pre-written. I've had it pre-written for about five years now, and really don't want to alter it and form all sorts of plot holes. However, because five years ago I would have only been thirteen, I had some odd ideas for this story.

I've noticed that, many times, the main character of this series, Lily Potter, has been called a Mary Sue. Let me make clear, I do not deny this fact. The matter is that if I were to follow the plot line I have written, this would only get worse.

I just wanted some opinions before I continue. Should I continue with the plot line I have, which would result in Lily Potter being a Mary Sue? Alternatively, should I take some time to alter the plot line and change this?

I really appreciate opinions. If anyone wants to discuss it DM me or kik me bookworm332000. Possible spoilers may ensue.
