Chapter 15-Fail

Why is he trying to destroy that?...

"Kacchan...You almost always lead with a right hook," Midoriya gasped out with half of his mask burned off from Bakugo's explosion,"I analyzed some stuff about heroes I think are awesome in that notebook of mine...The one you chucked out the window!"

"Run up ahead with Uraraka, (l/n)!" Midoriya suddenly shouted as he tried to use the capture tape that you had been given before, but you knew it wouldn't be of use. 

It is inefficient against that monstrosity...

As predicted Bakugo had broken free from the loose white piece of tape-Wait, wait, wait. Who the fuck thought that this piece of shit could capture anything? Much less Bakugo or whatever you call that stick-in-the-ass with actual fucking engines in his legs.

"Worry about yourself, Deku!" Bakugo yelled as a counter to Midoriya's attempt of capture, Bakugo tried to do an explosive midair kick, but did not hit as the attack was blocked by your forearms. You stood defensively in front of Midoriya as he was already bracing for the counterattack til he opened his eyes, seeing you bravely defend him.

"If I know Bakugo..." Midoriya suddenly said as your focus was off Bakugo for a second as Midoriya had such a fierce look in his eyes,"He'll come raging again with his right hook..!"

Midoriya had said it so last minute as he suddenly pulled you down to the ground, crouching, avoiding Bakugo's special yet predicted move. You and Midoriya drifted as you held your place ready to attack again as Bakugo angrily looked back at you, furious and ravenous even, as you prepared to pounce on him while-

"Got to come up with a plan!"

.

...Huh?

You suddenly vanished from Bakugo's view as you were being dragged along by Midoriya as you traveled through the intricate hallways of the building you did not recognize.

"Get back here, Deku!" Bakugo started yelling as his voice was echoey and distant as he continued to yell while you carefully observed Midoriya's facial expression from the result of each word,"Oi!! It must have been fun, right? Hiding the shitty, quirk of yours from me! And now you fuckin' dare to take (f/n) away from, huh?!"

Am I property again?...

Your faced tensed as you looked at Midoriya's intense and slightly nervous expression, thinking what could Bakugo ever mean by that.

"WELL BRING IT ON!" Bakugo boomed as explosions could be heard,"I'LL STILL CRUSH THE BOTH OF YOU!"

...Try me bitc-

Midoriya and you hid as you stopped running away from Bakugo.

"Midoriya, allow me to handle this," You said, you facial expression emotionless as you crouched down next to Midoriya.

"I can't let you do that (l/n).." Midoriya gasped quietly as he continued while he gave you a nervous and unsure smile,"We have to work as a team remember?"

You blinked a few times as you smiled.

He's so...Unreasonable..

"I'm more capable than you to defeat Bakugo. You need to assist Uraraka right now. I'll go handle Bakugo," You placed a hand on Midoriya's shoulder while you smiled at him as a sign of reassurance.

Midoriya nervously gulped as his face flushed slightly while he was sweating profusely as he placed his hand over yours that was on his shoulder,"Sorry (l/n), but I...I'm going to be selfish. I just can't find it in myself to give you to him,"

Something pounded profusely in your chest while your cheeks flushed slightly while you let out a sigh,"As you wish, but we need a plan. Iida is currently working alone so here's the best solution.."

"That damned loser..." Bakugo menacingly walked through the halls, searching the pebble under his boot as he started to mumble to himself,"Who the fuck does that shitty nerd think he is? Dragging away that bitch away from me...! Why the fuck did she even go with Deku?! I'm better than him!!..."

                         "Deku!"      "(f/n)!"

It's Uraraka...

Uraraka's voice sounded through the micro earpiece as you listened in on her progress.

"Iida found me! I'm sorry! I'm inching back,but...!!"

"Where are you?" You said calmly and blunt as Midoriya irked as Iida laughed manically in the background.

"Fifth floor! Right in the center!"

That's right above us...!

You looked to the ceiling and had a sudden and rare sense of anxiety and wonder as if your first team mate was doing okay. 

We're losing time...

You looked at Midoriya's anxious face as he was in a sweat while after Uraraka's last message worried him. You put a hand over his as you reassured,"I never  fail a job,"

Midoriya gave you a weird and awkward look till he turned his head suddenly.

"Stop hiding behind (f/n), Deku..." Bakugo's voice thundered as he peered around the corner. He growled and sneered at you and Midoriya as your hand was over his, but quickly got up to be ready to face Bakugo's explosive rage,"You mocking' me? Why not use that stupid quirk of yours, huh?"

"I guess you know this from all your stalking..." Backlog started till he raised a hand towards us as if he'd send an explosion our way while you were prepared for anything,"The sweat glands secret something like nitroglycerin...That's how I make my explosions,"

You suddenly realized something as you prepared to cover your face.

He wouldn't...

"If the honored my request..." Bakugo said while cocking a finger to the ring of the grenade-like gauntlet,"This thing has been storing fluid.."

He wouldn't...?

"Bakugo! Stop!" All Might's voice rang through our ear pieces as Bakugo had a murderous look in his eyes.

"Are you trying to kill us?" 

Bakugo paused for a moment as you gave him a plain, cold stare while you looked him dead in the eye. He lowered his gauntlet a little while his guard was down for a split second while his facial expression was slightly plain, but shocked.

"You won't die if it's a direct hit!!"

In that immediate moment a large explosion happened in an inclosed space as a large, gaping hole appeared as everyone gasped in the monitoring room.

Midoriya cracked open his eyes to be slightly in pain till he widened his eyes at the sight as he was laying on the ground. 

"(l/n)?..."
