Chapter 21-Go Rogue

"Is it ready yet? We're getting impatient.." Shigaraki hissed as he was accompanied by a tall shadowy man known as Kurogiri. Standing behind those two was a man even taller and more menacing, as he wore a mask that hid an even more grotesque face.

A shrewd man trembled furiously,"Ye-Yes, almost! If you'll just follow through these doors, we'll be at the testing chambers to see the almost completed project. I call it—"

"She is called Project 17," A woman interrupted as the man clicked his tongue. This caught the attention of the audience.

"Who is this?" Kurogiri asked politely as he was curious to know.

"Don't mind her she's just one of the researchers and my main assistant. Now, come along and see what I've accomplished for you," The man was giddy and eager to get praised and paid.

The group followed the man to a small observational deck that viewed in large empty white room which it's walls were gridded with blue lines.

The man leaned into a mic on a control panel,"Bring it in,"

Two large men suddenly barged in, holding a small girl who held no resistance against the mistreatment.

"Is that her?" The largest man in the room suddenly spoke up.

The professor answered back,"Y-Yes and yes the subject might seem fragile and small, but I assure you-"

"For the love of god, just hurry up," Shigaraki hissed as the man flinched.

"Y-Yes, right away..." He politely said as he went to the mic,"Project 17. Demonstration practice code E-06,"

Without a second thought eagle wings spread out as suddenly targets came out the walls.

In a swift motion, all targets were destroyed as you had barely moved an inch or so it seems.

"Such agility.." Kurogiri was astounded by the speed.

"Yes! We've modified her body and her senses. Her original quirk in animal shifting, but we've doubled it. The talon of her eagle form can now shred steel and al senses are heightened to the max," The professor proudly stated.

"Except her common sense. Why the hell is she just standing there? She seems like a dunce," Shigaraki kept pointing out flaws.

"That, aha, is part of her absolute obedience. We've microchipped her in the back of her neck, attaching it to a vital part of her nervous system and treated her to follow commands of whoever owns her. Besides her personality, this is absolute assurance she will follow commands. We cant have our weapons going rogue, now can we?" He pointed out with a proud smile on his face,"She also shouldn't do things on her own accord such as futile emotions and a sense of consciousness."

"Good. And to think we were just buying a PTSD ridden child," The large, overbearing man spoke.

"And that's not all. This addition to her power is not complete, but once it is...Ha, she'll even be able to make All Might bend to her will..." The scientist continued as in the corner, the woman stepped back, and looked stressed as if she were holding her breath. The man once again spoke into the intercom,"17, display practice code B-01. Remember to keep it in moderation. We have guests."

"Code Black...Level 1.." You murmured as suddenly your hair rose up like gravity was working in opposite ways. The ground started to tremble as the people in the room were a little frantic except for the professor and the most dangerous client there. Starting from where you were standing everything in your area started to become corroded into this brittle black substance that could be blown away by the wind, like ashes after a firestorm has swept through the area.
