That afternoon, Fuli went back to the Outlands to find Scar. Fuli walks into the volcano and ignores the growls and the glares.
"Scar?" She asks.
"I'm here Fuli." Replies Scar.
"You were right. I shouldn't have trusted Kion. He and Jasiri have feelings for each other. I've seen it and I don't know what to do."
"So you've finally seen what we warned you about."
Fuli covered her face with her paw as a few tears fall from her eyes.
"If your mother were here, she'd tell you to be strong." Says Scar.
Fuli wipes away her tears and tries to look strong. "And I will be...for her."
"Good. I want you to keep a close watch on Kion and to keep our meetings a secret. When the time is right, you'll have your revenge. All we need is your loyalty."
"I am at your service."
"Good."
