Chapter Thirteen: Revelation

"Thanks a lot for helping me!" The black-haired girl bowed at the bluish-haired man as a respect and stood up straight after.

"You can count on me, then I'll be going." Ayato said.

"Right, goodnight!!" Juuzou waved her hand as he wave back as a signal that he's off. Juuzou entered her room and dashed over her bed. She stared at the boxes that are stocked in her room. She shifted her body in a sitting position and watched the box for a while before walking near to it. She opened the box and take a good look on the items inside. She picked it all up stared at it one after another. She stopped at the banner with the writing of Ayato. She stared at it for a while. She cleaned up the mess she made and went up to her bed.

"What an incessant rain..." Naoi said, standing at the front of the window, watching every rain drops. Yuri walk near and stood next to him. "It sure is!" She said. A memory appeared on her mind, a girl, standing and wet by the rain.

"Wait, I love getting wet by the rain!!" She said and excitedly ran outside. It made the boy's widened. 'What is this anxiety?!' He thought.

"Hey don't just go on yourself!" He shouted and ran after her. He caught the girl cheerfully outside, playing with the rain. He just smiled and watch the girl. He felt some kind of worry as he gazed around. The wind blows hard as Naoi sensed the girl that she was about to get slipped by stepping the small pod of rain next to her. 'No... It mustn't... This cant' be...!' His mind is blowing as he started running and approach the girl.

"I won't... LET IT HAPPEN!!!" The boy sprinted over the girl and cached her. He was too nervous for some reason, he was hugging her by now. "I don't... want you to..." He couldn't continue, his voice cracked.

"Naoi... san?" Yuri said curiously, having no idea about the situation. Naoi was also getting wet by the rain. "I don't get it."

"I wish I've done this before but... it was too late." Naoi whispered.

"Naoi—" She haven't continue. She felt so much worried and just didn't continue. She knew it will also be useless if she asks him what's wrong. She just remained in silence.

'Why am I like this?' Naoi wondered to himself. His eyes widened after sensing something. He hugged the girl tighter. 'Why can't I feel her heart beating?!' He became more worried about her. 'You can't be...!'

"Aya-chan...?" Juuzou said, standing after Ayato who was observing Naoi and Yuri. He started shivering. Juuzou started worrying. Her heart was breaking down as she felt a real wound in her chest. The boy started approaching Naoi and let himself be wet. It made the black-haired girl's eyes widened.

"Stop it... Naoi." Ayato said. Naoi and Yuri glanced at him, having no clue to what he was talking about.

"Aya-chan—!" Juuzou ran towards to them, trying to stop Ayato for his next action. The bluish-haired yelled and punched the leader of the teamas he collapsed. Yuri gasped out loud as Juuzou started grabbing his arm.

"Everyone! Please stop fighting!" Yuri said and started running between them.

"Stop it Ayato!!" Juuzou shouted, her grip loosened as she knelt down on the wet floor. "Please... stop it..." It made Kirishima glance at her and calmed.

"Juu..." He muttered.

"After all... I don't want to continue our mission." Juuzou said, her voice is deep. Naoi thought.

"Mission...?" He whispered to himself and wondered.

"Because... I know it hurts someone as the same goes to me. It hurts me too, by seeing someone be hurt." Juuzou started standing up. She lifted her head. Her tears are mixed with the rain. Ayato noticed that.

'Seeing her like this... Finally made me realized that, even the happiest person... cries.' Ayato thought to himself while staring at the girl, who supposed to be happy for all times.

"I don't want to be envious of Yuri because... She became a real friend! And she's the only one... the only girl... who tolerated me." Her voice cracked. Yuri glanced at the girl. "Juu-chan..."

"And... I want to be her happy, that's why...I wanted to let go of Naoi-san, the one who I thought I loved from the first place... But if I did, him and Yuri-san become bound together and... you'll be hurt!" Juuzou raised her voice, crying all her feelings out loud.

"I've... I've fallen in love with you, Ayato Kirishima!" Juuzou yelled. Ayato's eyes widened. Juuzou sighed for air. "But I knew you already love someone else. I'm really glad that somehow you're happy being with me, for all of the things we have done together!" She forced a smile on her face. Yuri started wrapping her arms around the black-haired girl.

"I'm so sorry!" She said and hugged the girl more tightly.

"No... I'm the one who has to apologize, I forced you two to separate."

"Not only you... but us." Ayato said approaching the girl. "Aya-chan..." Tears flew intensely on the girl's eyes, she hugged the girl back.

"It was all my fault, if I didn't exist in this world then it became much better! I'm the one who's making troubles, that is why I'm so sorry...! I don't want to see everyone hurt..." Yuri said, tears are falling down her face.

"It's not your fault, don't blame yourself. You just don't understand..." Juuzou said. Yuri broke the hug and wiped her tears. Naoi walked forward to them, he was very wet.

"In spite of everything, Yuri just want us to accept our unfulfilling lives. The main reason that the author created this game, was to make the people who wanted to die, love their current lives. Yet, she was really amazing that she could do things like that. She wanted to fulfill us all. And that's all what she wants." Naoi explained. They all remained in silence after that. The rain was slowly fading.

"There's one more..." Yuri said, everyone glanced at her.

"What is it?" Ayato asked. Yuri just smiled at the bluish-haired man.

"It was so simple and it was the one which is really important." She said. Everyone was left silence, waiting for her to say it.

"What is it?!" Naoi raised his voice. Yuri warmly looked at him.

"To live in the world I never existed."
