In the deck below, some pirates were holding the ship's crew, hostage, including Sitwell.

Steve was then starting to make his way to the hostages.

She knocked him down and went down a stair rail, shooting more of them.
The French pirate continued to threaten the hostage.
"Tais-toi. Qu'Est-ce que c'est? Voulez-vous être un héros?" the first French pirate remarked.

He looked at more who just kept their heads down.
"Eh bien, j'ai attendu assez longtemps," the first French pirate remarked.

He went over to the locked door and knocked on it to get the guard's attention.
"Hé, cherche Batroc. Si je n'entends rien dans deux minutes, je vais commencer à les tuer!" the first French pirate remarked.

"D'accord. Je vais le trouver!" the second French pirate answered.

He turned to leave until Rumlow shocked him, knocking him out. He stopped him from falling so the guard didn't get suspicious.
"Deux minutes," the first French pirate repeated.

Rumlow and another agent placed a bomb on the door.
"Silence radio du SHIELD, Batroc," a French Pirate said.
(A/N "Radio silence from SHIELD, Batroc.")
Steve saw them as another agent got in position.
"Targets acquired," an agent informed.
Rumlow aimed his gun at the bomb.
"STRIKE in position," Rumlow said.
Steve took out his comm and asked, "Natasha, what's your status?"
She didn't answer.
"Status, Natasha?" Steve repeated.
"Hang on!" Natasha yelled.
She and a French pirate got in a tussle until she came out on top.
"Engine room secure," Natasha said.
Then the first French pirate had finally had enough.
"Le temps est écoulé. Qui veut mourir en premier?" he asked then said to his men, "Hé toi! Prends la fille."
(A/N "Time's up. Who wants to die first? Hey you! Take the girl.")
"On my mark. Three. Two. One," Steve whispered into his comm.
The team shot the pirates, blew the door open, and Rumlow killed the head pirate.
"I told you, SHIELD doesn't negotiate," Jasper Sitwell said.
