A/n: Jimin's face just made my day 😂😂😂 ^

=======================

Kim Soo Mi's POV

The first thing I would do that day was to choke on my can of Sprite.

"What in the world did you just say Park Hee-young?!" I exclaimed in surprise.

"I accidentally met Kim Seokjin at the mall yesterday." She plainly answered. This is what I can read from Hee-young's actions every time she is very happy. She pretends not to care but deep inside, my bestfriend could die of pure happiness.

Laughter erupted out of me and I slapped my tummy. "This is the best thing you've ever told me! I never expected that we would crush on the two members of BTS!"

"I don't have a crush on Jin!" She defended herself, clenching her teeth in annoyance. Her ears were already getting redder.

I pat her on the back and assured her, "You're such an open book, bestie. I can read you crystal clear." Giving her a wink, I scurried out of the cafeteria in a hurry because I got a gut feeling that Hee-young would slice me to pieces with her killing elbow.

"You come back here, Kim fucking Soo Mi!!" She yelled at the top of her lungs behind me and I heard her heavy footsteps broke into a run. My bestfriend really was pissed.

We ran around the campus like little kids, getting the attention of many students and the staff. What felt like a few minutes of running turned to an hour which meant break was over. That's why the place have finally gotten so quiet.

"Oh shoot, we're late for the next period!" We panicked and immediately went back to our classroom, getting scolded by our teacher in result.

With our heads hung low in embarrassment, we sat on our respective chairs and flipped our textbooks to the teacher's lesson. This was going to be another long boring day.

==================

"I haven't seen Taehyung in so long." My lips pouted into a smirk as my bestfriend and I walked out of the school together. It's also been awhile since Hee-young could go home with me. Ever since Taehyung entered my life, it has been an emotional rollercoaster for me.

"Relationships tend to be that way. You should have thought that first before entering a long distance relationship." She protested and rolled her eyes, taking a bite of her popsicle which was weird because it's already in the middle of the Ber months. Christmas was already approaching.

I have finished all my written calligraphs for BTS and I would mail it all to them by tomorrow at the post office. "Don't you get brain freeze? It's getting cold recently."

She shook her head no and replied, "Nah, I'm good. By the way, how will you spend your day on Christmas Eve?"

"I'll spend half of the day with my mother and the afternoon for Taehyung if he is free, I guess." I answered unsurely. She sensed me being so hesitant but I quickly covered it up with a wide grin on my face. "What about you?"

"Same, I'll be spending Christmas Eve with eomma. She hasn't gone outside to see the snow the past few years because of her weak body." Hee-young explained and I listened to her.

While we were walking on the sidewalk, snowflakes dropped on the cement one by one until my head bobbed up to see that it finally started snowing. I held my hands out in the air to catch a snowflake but it instantly melted in my palms.

"Are you a kid or what?" Hee-young snickered at my actions as she walked passed me, leaving me behind.

I chuckled, "Yah! Wait for me. It's the first snow. Isn't that amazing?" Our surroundings were slowly coated with the white which made everything else heavenly.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Just hurry up so we can go home. I didn't bring my coat with me," complained Hee-young who was freezing from the slowly increasing temperature.

====================

When I arrived home, the heater in our living room was already turned on thankfully. I took off my coat and hung it on the hook stand.

"Oh hey, sweetie. How's school?" Mom greeted with a smile as I pecker her a kiss on her cheek.

"It's still standing on solid concrete, eomma." She rolled her eyes at my sarcastic comment.

"Tsk, tsk. You and your puns are not getting to me anymore, young woman." She pointed me the magazine she was reading before I arrived.

"But you still love me." I grinned mischievously before she tackled me into hug and we just talked about random things.

I forgot to mention that I have told eomma about my trip to Seoul in full detail as well. I didn't keep the make out session a secret as well. She yelled like a mad woman and bragged after how Dad would also sneak up on her which definitely led to a lovey-dovey time. Listening to her stories were much cringier than mine that I had to literally cover my ears to make her stop.

"You better not have any babies this soon! I don't want to be a grandmother yet!" My mom grimaced at the thought of her getting old.

"Eomma!"

And that ended our bickering for the day.

I had a slight fear in my heart at that moment, but I chose to ignore it instead. From the way things were going good recently, I'm confident nothing bad will happen.

This will be the best Christmas ever!
