falling. that's what it felt like when i was with her. i was falling, falling, falling─
and i loved the feeling of it.
i knew there would only be one outcome to this. you couldn't just keep falling forever. soon, i would land and my bones would be crushed and my heart would give out and i'd be dead.
but that would be okay. i didn't care about what would happen later. because in this moment, right now, being with her felt exactly as thrilling and fearful and distressing and exhilarating as falling could be.
sometimes, i would look over and see her next to me, and i smiled at the thought of both of us, plunging into the unknown together. but i was falling in love. and i think she was just falling apart.
