after picking finn up from the airport, an uber arrived to take the four of them home. bela crawled into the back seat of the car with finn and melanie, as louis sat in the passenger seat with the driver.
"i've missed you so much, finn," said bela, resting her head on his shoulder.
he smiled, slightly turning his neck to gently kiss the top of her head. "i've missed you too," he whispered.
she giggled, sniffling softly as she wiped away at the wetness building up in her eyes. finn pulled away, leaning his head back to look at her. "are you ... crying?" he asked incredulously.
"i'm sorry," bela said pathetically, nuzzling her head into the nape of finn's neck. he wrapped his arms around her, and suddenly outside he could hear the loud downpour of rain. bela could hear it too, and she smiled into finn's body, feeling safely wrapped in his arms. he rested his head on hers.
"oh my god finn, you better not start sobbing or else i'm going to start, too," melanie suddenly interjected from the seat next to them.
bela laughed, and finn could feel the vibrations of her body against his own. he slightly pulled her away from him, looking into her brown eyes. "is everything okay? is this about peyton?"
"no. i'm just happy that you're here again. i love you and i'm so glad you're my life," bela said.
"and lucas?" he asked, a slight smirk showing on his features.
she chuckled. "yes, lucas too. of course."
