Learning how to walk

Marks POV

We have had (y/n) for about 6 mouths meaning that she/he was 8 mouths altogether. Now I read online that babies start walking at about 7-10 mouths old and me and jack was not very worried about (y/n) starting to walk any time soon but as time had got on I began to if she/he would not walk at all.

Now jack was not that worried and kept saying that she/he would walk in his/her own time and that I should leave her/him be otherwise she/he won't walk because of me putting pressure on to her/him.
My little jackaboy also said that babies can feel stressed and feel emotions that other people have, not I don't know if that is turn or not but I did just to make him happy and left (y/n) alone.

Another mouth had pasted and me and jack were having a BBQ party with some of our friends like wade, Bob and felix as well as my mom but my dad had work so could not come.

"So has little (y/n) started to walk yet" felix said while picking up (y/n) and tickling her/him belly making her/him laugh.
"No not yet, but mark is worried about it because he thinks that she/he is never going to walk"
"Don't think that honey, you did not walk until you were about 1 and (y/n) is only 9 mouths you know" my mom said to me while taking (y/n) off of felix making her/him smile and hug my mom and her/his grandma.

"I know, I know, it's just that.....I really want to see her/him walk"
"I know you do" my mom laughed

"So guys lets get this BBQ on the go shall we"wade said while rubbing his belly
"Yeah I'm starving" Bob tuned in
"Ok,ok I'll put it on and I am also making it Irish style" jack said
"Way not America?" Felix said
"Because I need some English and Irish food for once"

Jack started the BBQ while wade and bob said me a question.

"Sooo mark had (y/n) said her/his first word yet?" Bob said
"Her/he has and I could not be more proud" I said while doing an anime like hug to my self and could see stars and love hearts floating around me
"Well come on tell us what she/he said will you"wade said looking at bob then back at me.

Flashback

Me and jack were doing a live stream that we do once a week and we also have a Q/N  about our life together and how (y/n) is doing.
We were still recording when the baby monitor went off and (y/n) started to cry.
So me and jack looked at each other and took the camera off and went to go and see what was wrong with our little angle.
When we got to the room that our angle sleeps in jack picked her/him up and started to rock her/him in his arms.
"Wants wrong my darling?" Jack said in his Irish voice
I put the camera on them and so the camera on (y/n).

(Y/n) stopped crying and looked at the camera and smiled and laughed.
"Awww did little (n/n) (nickname) want some attention from her/his daddies" I said

She/he then did something that made me and jack both look at her/him in shock she/he Spoke.

"Cam..ra"
"What did you just say?" We both said that the same time
"Camra"
"I think she's/he's trying to said camera" jack said

"Camra"she/he said again and laughed

Flashback over

"And that's what happened"
"Awwww her/his first word was camera"
"Yep and her/his b
Daddies could not be more proud"

After a litter while jack and done the BBQ and we sat down and ate while (y/n) played with China on the garden while we all watched them

"She/he really is lovely and I could not be more proud as her/his grandma"
"I know"

We started to play some games with my mom holding (y/n).
My mom put (y/n) down because she/he started to struggle.

"Kyaaaaa everyone look" my mom screamed and we all looked and all became stunned
(Y/n) she/he was standing

Me and jack got on the floor
"Come on (y/n) come to daddy" jack said
"Come on come (n/n) come to dad"

You see jack was called daddy and I was called dad

She/he laughed and slowly put one foot in front of the other.
The other got on the floor to and started to record.

"Come on your almost there come to daddy"

She/he started to walk a little faster and made she/his way to us but she/he just fell a little short and fell over.

But she/he started to get back up again and started to walk some more and finally made her/his way to us and fell once again but in to mine and jacks arms

"Good job angle"
"See I told yah she/he would walk in her/his own time"

We all laughed and praised (y/n) and she/he laughed and reached up for pick me up hands
"Daddy" she/he smiled and jack picked her/him up and we all carried on with the games.
