(Nagisa's POV)

It was all a blur. How did I even end up here? Why is this happening?

Everyone stood there, frozen. It's like time just stopped, the only movement that's seen is my trembling form, not to mention, the demon that was summoned by Terasaka and his goons.

I never wanted this to happen. I just wanted to get home fast so mom wouldn't-I never meant to be a bother!

Sharp, pale, golden eyes roved over me. I tried to push the hands off of me, but my frozen classmates kept me in place. What's going on? It was a struggle, but I managed to remove Muramatsu's hand from my wrist.

A breath of relief made its way passed my lips when I no longer felt trapped. But that didn't mean I still wasn't held captive...

"Humans. They disgust me. But their souls... their souls are the only thing they have that pleases me..."

The demon stepped out of the chalk-drawn circle, shocking me as it did so. Just how powerful is this demon to be able to walk out easily?! I backed away, a yelp of surprise breaking through when my back hit Yoshida's frozen body.

It kneeled down to my level of height, its blood red hair falling over its eyes.

"...your soul looks appetizing, a bit too appetizing if I may add."

Cold fingers made their way under my chin, tilting my head to the side as it studied me. I whimpered when I felt its hand wrap around my neck. I'm scared!

"I can't wait to devour it~" It purred and backed away, pulling me along with it. "But let's get out of here, shall we? These idiots look too much like, well... idiots, and feasting on you in a crowded room doesn't fancy me at all."

"W-Wait, let me go..!" I cried. "Someone help!"

The demon ignored my plea and dragged me out of the school's shed where the summoning took place. His grip on my arm was firm, tight, it hurt.

Oh no! I don't have any of my weapons!

He led me deep within the forest, far away from the school. I tried to break free, but failed. I dug my heels in the dirt to slow it down. I won't be giving a demon my soul!

I gasped when I felt my body be lifted into the air and be smashed down onto the ground. The demon pinned my wrists above my head as he sat on my stomach, it became difficult to breathe properly.

"Let go..!" I gasped out. "I will not be killed by a demon!"

It grinned, leaning down until it was near my ear. "Struggling won't do you any good, human."

My body shivered against my will. What do I do? I'm training to be a demon hunter, damn it! Think!

A cry of pain. The evil creature dug it's teeth in the skin of my shoulder. Again, I tried to break free, but I was trapped. I'm trapped.

"Your blood is sweet... as expected." It licked its lips. "No doubt, your soul must taste exquisite."

Barely hearing it's words, I turned my head away from it. Is this is it for me? I blinked away tears. Is this where I die?
