"When will you understand that you can't escape from me?! I'll find you, always," he whispered in my ear.
"Never!" I kept my hands on his chest, making a feeble attempt to push him away.
His close proximity robbed me of my breath, my senses to think straight.
"It's alright, darling," his knuckles caressed my cheeks, "Just breathe."
"What do you want?!"
"I just want to be with you. Like the old days. Let me amend my mistakes, love. Reprimand me, but don't punish me with your absence."
"I don't want your apologies, ok? I don't care if you regret it or not, just fuck off!"
"Language!" his voice boomed through the room.
Angry and dominant.
"Don't you dare curse. A lady never curses."
"A rebel can never be a lady," I scoffed.
"You are a lady, a woman. My woman."
"I am not your bloody woman, just get the hell away from me."
He took a step forward. This is not good.
I need to leave.
"Stay away!" the panic in my voice rang out loud and clear.
"I can't," he whispered and took a step forward and I took two steps backwards.
"Don't come near me."
"I can't help it," he took one more step ahead.
"Didn't you do enough?! Aren't you happy to see me like this? This is what you wanted, right? So why don't you leave me the fuck alone now?!" I took in gulps of air, but it felt as though I couldn't breathe.
"I don't want this," he murmured.
"Just leave me alone! I don't want anything to do with you!"
"But, I want everything to do with you, kitkat."
That was the last thing I heard, before darkness engulfed me.
