The Girl Next Door. (Ansel Elgort)

Chapter 11.

I opened my eyes just as the ambulance came.

"Put her on the strecher!" Someone said.

"I'm fine." I told them.

"Your bleeding." The EMT argued.

"I. am. fine!!!" I snapped at them.

"Fine." They mumbled as the car started to go up in flames.

"QUICK GET THE BOY OUT!" Some EMT yelled.

They pulled him out of the car and he looked dead.

"ANSEL!" I screamed while running over to his body.

"Get back!" They said.

Finally they get him in the ambulance and tell me to get in.

Once we got to the hospital, i called my house.

The phone rang 3 times before someone answered.

"Hello?" My Mother's voice rang through the phone.

"Mom?" My voice cracked.

"Honey?! Where are you? It's after 12!" She freaked.

Was it really that late?!

"I'm at the hospital." I said.

"Why?" She freaked out more.

"A truck hit Ansel's car." I said.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"Yeah, i think i'm fine. Ansel is hurt though."

Just then a nurse came in calling my name. "Kendall Spring?"

"Hold on Mom." I said before saying "Yes?"

"Dr. Agron would like to check to see if your ok, so please follow me?" She said.

"Yes, hold on." I said.

"Mom, i have to go, the doctor wants to see me." I said.

"Ok, i'm on my way though." She said before i hung up and followed the nurse into a bright white room.

"Hello, i'm Dr. Agron. I'm gonna check your head ok?" He asked. I nodded.

After a few minutes he finally told me, "You have a small concussion."

"Ok." I said.

I went back into the waiting room and saw Ansel's family and Mine.

"Are you okay?!" Mom asked.

"I have a small concussion." I said.

"That's not too bad." Mrs. Elgort said.

"What about Ansel?" I asked.

"Honey, he isn't doing to good." Mrs. Elgort said.

I swear, my heart stopped.
