Chapter 13.

I stared at them like they had 3 heads.

"Hey, are you Kendall?" Shailene asked me.

"Yes." I answered.

"It's nice to meet you." She said shaking my hand.

"You too." I smiled.

John and Nat did the same thing.

"Well, i'll let you guys have your time wity him, i'm going to the food court." I said.

"Ok thanks." They all said at the same time.

I walked down to the food court and grabbed a donut and a coffee.

I sat at the table and picked at my donut. I wasn't really hungry, i was more worried for Ansel. I've been here 3 days straight now.

I decided to go back home and take a quick shower.

I hopped in my blue volkswagon bug, and drove home.

As soon as i got there, i noticed no one was home.

I walked in and turned on the lights.

"SUPRISE!" Everyone jumped out.

"Wait what?" I asked confused.

"It's your 20th birthday Kendall!" My mom said.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yes!" She laughed hugging me, well trying to at least since her stomach was getting bigger.

Suddenly a huge cake came out.

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Kendall! Happy birthday to you!" They sang than clapped.

I blew out my candles making my wish.

I wish Ansel would wake up.

After the party, and after i showered, i went back to the hospital.

I walked up to his room to find he had no visiters at the moment.

I walked over to him and grabbed his pale white hand.

"I love you Ansel." I said.

I squeezed his hand as i was crying.

I felt a squeeze back and when i looked up at him, i saw his brown eyes looking into mine.

I gasped, before calling the doctor.
