Jumping to her feet and clapping, Riley grinned as she watched Fernando celebrate his goal and she knew that there was no way for Italy to come back from this.
Riley smiled as she sat down in her seat in the Olympic Stadium, she hadn't told her boyfriend that she was flying out with the children to watch him play in the final for the Euros.
The brunette had wanted to be a surprise since Fernando currently thought that she was in Spain with his parents, she knew how much it meant for him to have her and the children there when he won the tournament for a second time.
"Mummy, daddy scored," Aiden said excitedly as he beamed up at his mother, it hadn't been easy for Riley to arrange this little trip and it had been even harder not to tell Fernando the night before that they were in Kiev.
"He certainly did," Riley said as she smiled at the two, she was amazed that they hadn't blurted out the surprise to their father when they had spoken to him; she knew that Fernando was a little sad that they weren't there.
Riley chuckled softly as she turned back to the pitch, she was really going to have to thank Juan for getting her the tickets; she had contacted him for help with her surprise as soon as Spain had qualified for the final.
Both Nora and Aiden were wearing jerseys with Fernando's number on the back, they had been so excited when they had arrived at the stadium and it was a surprised that Fernando hadn't noticed them.
"Not long now," Riley said as she looked at the clock, time was running down for the match and there was nothing that Italy could do to save themselves.

Fernando smiled as he stepped into the tunnel as the team celebrated their win on the pitch, he couldn't believe that they had done it for a second time; there was only one thing that could make this better was if his family were with him.
The footballer shook his head knowing that they would be proud of him even if they weren't here to see it; he was going to call them right now so he could celebrate with them.
"Daddy," squealed two excited voices making Fernando stop and stare as his children rushed towards him, he dropped to his knees as they ran into his arms making him hold them close.
Fernando stared speechlessly as Riley walked towards them; she was wearing a red swing vest and slouch boyfriend fit jeans paired with black faux suede shoe boots.
"You're here," Fernando said surprised as he looked at his girlfriend, he had no idea how she had managed to do this without him nodding.
Riley nodded her head as she shouldered her detail slouch bag, she knew that he would have wanted them here and there was nothing that she wouldn't do for him.
"Of course we are... we couldn't miss this," Riley said shaking her head with a smile, she watched as Fernando released the children and moved to hug her; she knew that the last three weeks had been hard on him but it had certainly been worth it.
"Hola," Fernando said as he pressed a kiss to Riley's lips, it felt good to have her back in his arms and she looked even more beautiful now; the laptop had done her no justice when they had spoken.
Riley grinned as she brushed her fingers through his hair, it was a lot blonder than the last time that she had seen him; and she sort of liked it.
"Hola," Riley replied as she kissed him, she knew that she couldn't have missed this for the world and she knew that he had needed them there.
"Nando," called a voice as Fernando continued to kiss his girlfriend of three months, he still couldn't believe that she was here; it seemed unreal and he loved that she had done this for him.
Aiden and Nora smiled up at their parents as they continued to kiss, they could see how happy their father was that they were all here to support him for his big match.
"El Niño," Sergio called annoyed as he walked over to his friend, he had heard that Riley and the children had arrived for the match from Juan; it had been a big team secret since they all knew how much this meant to Fernando.
Fernando pulled back from his girlfriend and glared at Sergio, he hated the nickname and was trying to get people to stop calling him that now that he had two children of his own and another on the way.
"Aren't you going to introduce me to your girlfriend?" Sergio asked grinning as he looked at his best friend, he knew that he hadn't met Riley yet and he had heard so much about her during the last three weeks.
It wasn't just Fernando that talked about her, Juan was also chipping in with how amazing Riley was and everyone was eager to meet the woman that had claimed Fernando's heart.
"Sergio, this is Riley my girlfriend... Riley, Sergio my best friend," Fernando said as he wrapped his arms around his girlfriend and held her close knowing he would have to let go soon; he wanted to take the children onto the pitch while he had the chance.
Sergio smiled as he stared at Riley, he was sure that Fernando had chosen the right woman this time and he knew that he couldn't wait until their wedding.

"I missed you," Fernando murmured as he kissed Riley softly, he brushed his fingers through her hair knowing that the children were asleep plus they had an early flight back to Spain.
Riley wrapped her arms around his neck and continued to kiss him, she was ten weeks pregnant and she knew that it would fly-by quickly; she couldn't wait for them to become parents again.
"I missed you too," Riley said as Fernando rested his hands on her hips and kissed her, he knew that they should get some sleep but he wanted to spend some time with her.
Riley smiled as she rested her head against his, she closed her eyes glad that she had surprised him like this; the brunette knew that this meant so much to him.
"I'm going to the bathroom for a moment," Riley said as she pressed a final kiss to his lips before she pulled back and headed into the bathroom; she flashed him a smile before she closed the door behind her.
Fernando smiled as he quickly moved to hide the small black box, he opened it too look at the ring that was inside; he knew that they had only been together three months and he knew that this was something that he wanted.
Fernando quickly closed the box and put it in his hand luggage so that Riley wouldn't find it, he knew that he had everything planned to propose to his girlfriend back in Madrid and he hoped that she would say yes.
Sitting down on the bed, Fernando thought about the fact that he was going to ask Riley to marry him; he had made the decision before his divorce had even been finalised and had been thrilled that his father had given him the ring that had belonged to his grandmother so that he could ask Riley to marry him.
Leaning back on the bed, Fernando closed his eyes knowing that this time he had chosen right, he had a connection with Riley that he had never had with Olalla.
It would be stupid of him to allow her to slip through his fingers, she was already wearing a promise ring and now it was time for the real thing.
