(M.Jesse POV)
I was in Beacontown after all the Disasters that the Admin aka Romeo caused. Everyone were rebuilding their homes or the other facilities. After all that, I invited Jack and Nurm to join the N Order of Stone and they accepted it gratefully. another new thing to one of my friend who was also my former enemy and former member of the Old Order, Ivor... He's apparently a ninja now (also he almost killed me). with that ninja suit and diamond katana, I had to admit: he's kinda cool. Although Alchemist and Ninja are kind of a weird skill combination but a deadly one too but that's how he is. He helps The People of Beacontown by supplying them plenty of foods from unknown source that he definitely won't tell me or anyone about. Lukas was also helping Beacontown's peoples to rebuilt their home that were destroyed or ruined by The Admin. And since he's The Architect of The New Order, That job fits him well and The Reconstruction and Renovation Project goes very well. But of course, he can't do that because it'll be quite exhausting. So my sister Jessica decided to assist him on that task too. Two Brains are better than one am I right?
I was currently out at The Order's Temple front yard, watching Beacontown that is being reconstructed and renovated. It was a nice day that day. The Sun shines brightly at this time of Season with the wind breezes matching with the current Season. The Parrots were also flying around the town, whistling and squawking. It was a really peaceful day even immediately after The Disaster days before. But Hey! Being Positive and Calm are one of our many quirks
"Hey, Jesse!" Someone called as I turned to where the voice came from. It was Petra who's walking towards me carrying a pile of woods, stones/rocks, and bricks. Probably some materials needed for Lukas's reconstruction project. That's a lot of stuff to carry but she's a strong girl so what do I have to say to that?
"Oh! Hey, Petra. What's up?" I greeted, waving my hand at her. Petra smiled at me as She carefully dropped the pile of materials on the ground and placed a hand on her hips
"I'm good" She replied "I bought these Building Materials Lukas and Jess told me for the Renovation Project" Said Petra, gesturing to the pile of building materials "So...Everything's okay?" Petra asked now
"Yeah, it's fine. I mean Look at all this!" I exclaimed gesturing the Town that slowly try to return to its original way by reconstruction and renovation along with the "Everything's back to the way it is" I sighed happily while looking at the scene
"Yeah, you're doing a great job Mr-um...Mayor" Petra grinned at me. I rolled my eyes as I narrowed them at her
"Ha Ha Very Funny" I faked laugh "And please don't call me 'Mayor' here 'Missy'!" I jokingly warned while playfully poking a finger at her
"Yeah sure, why not huh?" Petra said, chuckling "Romeo got his redemption chance, went to find Xara, and everything's back to normal"
"Heh, I actually got bad felling that he will make up with Xara in a 'not easy way' since she was acting so much like a... y'know...Lunatic" I remarked, chuckling
"Yeah, me too" Petra grinned. Then she looked at the sky as her eyes widened
"Oh yeah, I have to go! Job Calling! later, Jesse!" Petra said waving at me as she picked up the pile of materials on the ground before walking away
But before she was about to walked away, that time she didn't realize that there's banana skin on the ground. She slipped on it and she yelped 'Gah!'. At that time, iI ran to her side and quickly caught her in my arms. That's when Petra opened her eyes as we gazed into each other eyes. I realized that we're both are blushing and gazing at each other in the eyes
At the same time, suddenly Radar came out from the temple's front gate holding a clipboard that has some papers on it. He was looking at the paperworks of job lists I gave him earlier. He didn't realized that we were in front of him until...
"Asking anyone that in need for supplies-check! Checking facility dam-whoa!" Radar muttered to himself, suddenly he looked up from the job list and noticed that we were there all along in an awkward position "I gu-guess i i- i should leave you two a-alone. So-sorry boss!" He quickly left and rushed off past us to do his jobs
After that I released from my arms to let Petra stands on her own feet
"So-sorry about that" I said nervously while rubbing my back
"No, it's fine. I have to go by the way" Petra said, blushing as She then left the garden quickly. i cleared my thoughts from the early event as I left the Temple in a hurry and rushing off to Ivor's lava pad that was also his house. I remembered that he had something to tell me about
It was the most embarrassing experience in my life. But, I have to admit that I have a crush on her for a very long time now. but you know what? if there's another thing, my sister even had a crush on Lukas. I always teased her with Lukas and she always teased me back with Petra. I wonder when Lukas will get her since he's a smart guy but sometimes he's really oblivious with small and simple things
When I was on the way to Ivor's Lava Pad, Something or Some People caught my attention. I spotted six odd looking peoples wearing Brown Hoods near Beacontown's Theatre. They're carrying some sort of weird weapons that I couldn't even describe. They looked really suspicious. I don't like it, at all. But, nah... Must be the usual weird, odd, and unique Beacontowners who had their own weird but Unique things. I ignored them as I continued to walk to Ivor's lava pad
After a short walk to my destination, I finally arrived at Ivor's lava Pad. Man, it's been a long time since I went here eventough I'm the Hero of Residence who worked roaming in the town daily. I climbed the ladder and knocked on the door for about three times. Not long after that, I heard someone from inside the Door
"Coming!" the recognized voice said which is Ivor's voice. Then the door opened to reveal a Man in his forty or fifty with Ninja styled Black Hair and Beard and of course in his usual Alchemist Clothing/Order of the Stone clothing and not his Ninja outfit
"Jesse! Glad you can made it here!"
