Chapter 50: Chasing off the Inevitable

{M! Jesse's POV}

Okay this battle is brutal! Both sides are against each other's throat. The enemy forces, even though they're not smart or rational, they're crazy and fierce. I learned that the Axis has an armored infantry contingent with a long but thin sword. These guys are deadly, they fought brutally and mercilessly, killing our troops in a cold blood. But our troops fought them back ferociously too and killed many of them too. But we won't go down so easily. We will continue to fight until our last breath. Anyway as i said before, these armored swordsmen are brutal and fearsome but apparently they're those who like to 'Rush into a fight without even thinking of their lifes'

Right now i was facing 5 of these Warriors and 3 German Infantrymen armed with huge battleaxe. Petra was by my side in the entire battle. We got into our battle stance to be prepared fighting these guys. I told Petra that i'll take on the new enemy while she'll take on the Germans. I'm worried because I don't know what these warriors can do

"Alright, let see what you can do" I challenged them but it seems that they don't understand what I'm saying. One of the enemy's warrior pointed a finger at me with his sword ready for combat. I steadied myself, waiting for them to attack me first

"ga bīkontaun no rīdādesu! Aitsu o tsukamaero!" the first warrior shouted in a very different language from the Germans to his fellow warriors as one by one they charged at me with their thin and sharp swords. One of them started to fight with me. He slashed his sword against with such force because he was holding his sword with hands and that's the way the slash power is so powerful and if it got me, it will cause a devastating damage on me. So, I use my sword to deflect his attack. I gotta admit these guys are strong. Man, this is going to be a brutal fight. Good thing I told Petra to fight with the Germans instead of these nasty guys

"Aitsu o tsukamaero! Ten'nō no tame ni!" One of the Warriors shouted as the other two Warriors charged at me, knowing that I was distracted by the one that I was currently fighting. I blinked in shock but I keep my calm and my head cool so that I can beat this guys without any problems. So, i decided to take this down the guy i was currently fighting by pushing my sword against his as hard as i can muster. Finally, i got my opportunity. I pushed as hard as I could as he stumbled on the ground. Before he could recover and reach his sword, I quickly ran to him and stabbed him in the chest with my sword, slowly bleeding him to death as he turned into inventory loot

Okay, that's one down. Four more to go! I turned my attention to the other two Warriors who were going to attack me. I steadied myself to fight both warriors at the same time because it seems that both of them are charging with the same pace towards me. So I decided to do something that makes sense when two enemies are charging towards you: Charging towards them. Yes, i know that sounds stupid but in fact, it will cause shock to the enemy who were expecting you to defend yourself while they're gonna attack me. So yeah, i charged towards them as they both got shocked because of my sudden move, but they didn't flinch or froze, they keep charging towards me. Wow! these men were a lot more braver than the Germans, They are Fearless. I remembered John mentioned that these guys were called 'Samurai'. Geez.

"Shinu yo, sukamubaggu!" The first samurai who reached me yelled while slashing his sword against me. I deflected his with my sword. Then i look to the other charging samurai who were about to approach me with his sword ready to slash me. I quickly took an action. I kicked the leg of the samurai I was defending against as he stumbled on the floor

     I turned my attention to the other charging samurai. He called 'Jigoku ni itte blind!' as he slashed his sword against me but i deflected his slash. I quickly put all my strength into pushing my sword and power against the Samurai. I noticed that the other Samurai who i kicked before had recovered and charged at me. I quickly pushed the Samurai I was fighting, ran at him, and beheaded him with my sword as his head dropped on the ground along with his body as he turned into the inventory loot. I turned my attention to the charging of the Samurai, I noticed that he pulled out another thin and sharp sword making him armed with two swords. When our blades meet again, the Samurai is putting all of his strength against me, trying to overpower. But i know better, me and my friends have fought the impossible and inevitable foes.
