Chapter 17: Night After The Liberation

{John's POV}

And some of Hercules
Of Hector and Lysander,*
And such great names as these.
But of all the world's great heroes,
There's none that can compare

To the British Grenadier.

Ne'er saw a cannon ball
Or knew the force of powder
To slay their foes withal.
But our brave boys do know it,
And banish all their fears.

To storm the palisades
Our leaders march with fusees*
And we with hand grenades.
We throw them from the glacis*
About the enemies' ears.

We to the town repair
The townsmen cry, "Hurrah, boys*
Here comes a Grenadier!"

That's the British Grenadiers March. March of The Grenadiers Unit that inspired us to continue Our Fight against the Axis of Darkness and not to give up no matter how hard the obstacle is. Not only The British Grenadier March, The Irish Regiment performed with their 'O'Sullivan's March', Nepalese Patriotic Song 'Hāmī Gōrakhā Hauṁ', and the Italian War March 'Bella Ciao' for this Parade on Beacontown at night after the defeat of which i believed is a SS Parachute Division commanded by Major Ulster Meyer

The Allied Troops are marching towards the Town Square of Beacontown led by Colonel Conrad and Colonel Gorzia to meet up with Jesse and the others. Peoples of Beacontown were cheering for the New order and the Allied Troops, grateful for all they done to liberate their beloved Town. Jesse and his group was at the Center of the Town, ready to formally greet us

"The New Order of the Stone and The Beacontowners are thankful for you help in liberating our beloved Beacontown and with happy heart, we welcome you to Beacontown!" Jesse declared, and with that, The Beacontowners and The Allied started erupted In cheers

"Thanks to The Allies, not only did they helped liberating our Town, they also saved us all from our common enemy. We couldn't thank more for helping us. Today we declared that you...you Allies will be welcomed as our allies and we will help you fight against the evil that is lurking in our world and stop them from reaching their evil goal" Jesse said in his speech as the crowds erupted in cheers once again, but louder and more enthusiastic

-Time Skip-

After the Parade, The Beacontowners and Allied Forces were having a Feast at the Town center. The two Allied Colonels: Conrad and Gorzia, me and my Team, Jesse and his Friends were inside a VIP tent together where we're having dinner together. What we have for Dinner tonight are Beef Wellington, Roasted chicken, Roasted Salmon, and Sacher Torte cake for the dessert; as for the drinks we have tea, coffee, wine, fresh milk and hot chocolate. Since we all are the leaders of this alliance, We also discussed stuffs about our next move against The Jerries or any other Axis Forces coming to our front gate

{M.Jesse's POV}

We were having a Feast in a special tent provided by the Allied Forces while also having a discussion regarding our next move against The Germans or their Allies that they called as the Axis

"So...Colonel, you say that the Germans... I mean the Axis have more than Ten million troops in total. How many does the Allied Forces have?" I asked them. I'm really curious of how many troops they had. If it's at least half the numbers of the Axis, that would be enough to at least continue our fight against them

"Well, In total we have 5 million troops, including our combined forces" Colonel Gorzia answered. Wow, the Allies actually have half the numbers of troops the Germans have

"I know we are much smaller in number but most of our troops are trained, elite, and veteran troops who had been experienced in war against the Axis for a long time" Colonel Conrad stated proudly

I smiled at Colonel Conrad's determination "Oh okay then. This gives me an idea" i say as i looked to Petra and she noticed me before she turned to Lukas and then nodded at each other and we look at each other and nodded simultaneously. "Colonel, how many troops did you bring here and are the Germans or their Axis Allies going to launch another attack against our Town?" I asked

"I brought 5000 troops with the addition of our conventional heavy equipment and Colonel Gorzia here brought 2500 troops. And yes the Jerries will be attacking Beacontown again in two days from now. They'll be here with 10.000 Troops, with the addition of their conventional heavy equipment. I got this information from our Intel" Colonel Edward replied "Why do you ask?" He then asked

I clasped my hands together before giving my answer "We would like to fight with you. We realized that the Germans wanted to conquer our and we won't let them do as they pleased" I said before I turned to Petra and Jack "Petra and Jack here volunteered themselves to recruit and train volunteers from our town" Petra and Jack nodded at that. Then I turned to Lukas and my sister "Lukas and My sister here will coordinate the construction of defense structures"

"Hmm, that's a good plan, Chap! Then i suggest that John should help your people train with our weapons and Mike will help to modernize and strengthen the defenses. Since they are an expert on it. Right, Chaps?" Colonel Conrad said before turning to John and Mike. They all just replied with a nod to the Colonel

(An hour later after the Festival and Feast...)

I got back to the Temple with my Friends after the Victory Festival with our new allies. These Foreigner who called themselves as British and Italians that aligned themselves to be Allies seems to be nice and dependable peoples. Not to mention all of them are well-trained in combat so it's convenient in times like. Well, they did fought the Germans and their Axis allies that we haven't yet to encounter for a long time

By the way, its midnight already so i went to my and my sister's bedroom to get some sleep and we'll continue our daily job of town managingand have another strategy meeting with The Allies tomorrow. I opened the door to our bedroom as my sister and i went inside with me closing the door after we got inside our room. I went to my bed while my sister went to hers

"Goodnight Bro! You have some 'Hero of Residence' stuffs to do and meeting with the Allied Commanders tomorrow" she bid me good night before laying on her bed

"Yeah, Good night, sis! Love ya" i replied with a smile as I layed down on the bed and turned off the redstone lamp in our room as i drifted off into a peaceful dreamless slumber

Somewhere in the East...
{Markiplier's POV}

These kids are so kind. They helped us tending and recovering from our wounds. The leader of the group, that boy with glasses, Radar and that girl, Nikki and the others are so kind and helpful. We are gratefil for their help. If they did not found us, we would've be dead by now, bleeding to death. We told everything them about The Nazis to let them know that this world is not safe anymore. They had conquered our alternative world and ruled them over with iron fist

We spent the night with Radar and his group, just talking, making some jokes, having a meal, or anything we could do to relax before continuing on what we're going to do next. We planned to join Radar and his Group since they had helped us so it's only fair if we return the favor
