Chapter 43: Hitler's Steel

{Author's POV}

The Allied Forces and the Beacontown's Militants had already set up the barricades and defenses to fendboff the incoming German Mechanical Forces that was led by the notorious Oberkommander Karl Grubber. They've have finished the barricades for about 3-5 minutes so they had 5 Minutes to wait for the incoming German Forces. Colonel Conrad and Colonel Gorzia was talking with Major Alfred, Lieutenant John, and Jesse. They were discussing about the plan to handle the incoming German Forces. Currently they're prepared for the assault but they didn't know anything about this new German Forces could do

"The Jerries always used Blitzkrieg tactic to defeat their enemies. I expected that they're going to launch a full scale assault with their Robots. But, this is not Guderian or Rommel we're going to fight. It's that b*****d Karl. Who knows what he and his Robots could do" Conrad said. Gorzia nodded in agreement

"Yes, that's right. Shortly, my Cavalry are exhausted because of their constant charges against the Germans. We've lost so many men to the Germans. My remaining Infantry are only numbered around 1000 Regular Troops" Gorzia said

"Well, we've lost so many men too. Now we're only numbered around 5000 men. The Jerries had a huge amount of robots. Probably more than a hundred thousand. *glanced at John* According to your girlfriend, Karl will launch all of his Robotic forces to wipe out all of us, right Lieutenant?" the descendant of the British hero said to John. John nodded

"Yeah, that's right. Amy says that there will be also a German reinforcement coming from the South. She told me that the Jerries had already attacked the American base there but the Jerries didn't finish off the Americans and the newly arrived French Forces. But instead they fled away from the base, leaving it to a wrecked base, as they set course for this Town" John informed them. Jesse seems to be curious about the Americans

"Umm, sorry but are these 'American' your Allies?" Jesse asked the Allied Commanders. They all nodded

"Yes, they are indeed our friend. They have a stubborn but fearless Leader. Just like us, they fought defensively against the Jerries. They even had their own nickname for the Jerries. They called the Jerries 'Krauts' probably because of their food Sauerkraut Pie. They had a huge sense of humor so they always joked around even when they're in danger" Gorzia said which makes everyone chuckled

"Yeah, those b******s always know how to make peoples laugh" Alfred commented. Colonel Conrad clapped his hands signaling them back to discuss their strategy

"Anyway, we have 3 minutes before the robots arrived. We need to figure out on how to defeat Karl and his blasted robots. I suggested defensive plan to repel them. I planned to scatter every divisions and brigades to different positions. Every troops will be placed in the buildings, behind the bushes, in the trenches, and behind the barricades. The Robot Army will need to deal with various direction of gunfire but they'll be focused on the Troops behind the trenches and barricades. Luckily, we brought our Tanks and Field Artillery to help dealing with the Strong Armoured Units they brought" Colonel Conrad explained

"That's a good plan, Sir. Eventhough we're outnumbered, we can still fight them" John commented

"Yeah, those bloody buggers won't know what hit em!'" Alfred exclaimed

"Well as long as we can stand, i hope that we can win this battle. I can't stand if my people or the Town are conquered by Bad People. I can't stand or ignore it. It's my duty as their leader: to protect them and ensure their freedom along with my friends" Jesse said. They all nodded in understanding
