Chapter 35: Showdown and Fate

{John's POV}

     That...Devil! He's here! He was the reason that Britain falls in the hand of the Jerries! He killed tens of thousand Britons! This Devil is indeed Oberkommandant Karl Grubber. The commander of the The Third Reich Armed Forces himself standing infront of his men holding two machetes in his hands

"Well eell well if it isn't Liutenant John Mayer the Pride of Britain. Thought that you're already dead after we captured your battalion in Englanf. But i guess not" he said with an evil smile on his face. I gritted my teeth in anger

"You can't take over Beacontown! It belongs to the Order and its People. And we, the Allies will defend their freedom" i shouted at him and pulled out my Sabre "And as you know, The Allies didn't surrender! Not today, Not Tommorow, or Forever!"

"Tsk Tsk Tsk, John..... You do realize your little Forces of your little Empire is outnumbered by Mein Fuhrer Might of an Army! Theres no way you could defeat us!" Karl sneered approaching me slowly "Mein Fuhrer is already tired of the Allied resistance, He already give an order to exterminate all Jewish all over the world, even woman and children. The Non-Aryan races are having the same fate as the Jewish. We destroyed all landmark in every country we occupied. Liberty statue, Big Ben, Eiffel Tower, Kremlin, and others that belonged to all those pathethic countries!" He stopped approaching then "And here today, We will destroy all of you, your Allies, and the Citizens of this pathethic town" He laughed like a maniac

"If you'll destroy this Town, Then you kill me first!"  I shouted as i challenged him and raised my saber

"Heh, very well then. After all i'll enjoy crushing you and your pathetic empire" He said with a sinister smile as he raised his dual machetes "Prepare to be doomed, Liutenant"

"I would like to see you try" I smirked at him as we charged and battle cried at each other. Our Blades clinged at each other

*Clang! Cling! Clang!* Karl tried to hit me with his other machete but i dodged it. I then tried to punch him with my other fist but he dodged it too. Karl then tried to push me off with pushing his Machetes against my Sabre

"This Will be easy if you just surrender already! Your little resistance is over" He sneered at me

"Never! We will rise up and win this war!" I sneered back at him. Then i gained some strength to fight against his push. So i kicked his left leg as he stumbled on the floor. He looked at me with an evil smirk then he got up as he got back to his Battle stance and so am i

"You know what? i must admit you're a Good Fighter but still you must be ELIMINATED!" He said as he began charging at me again. Then i got on defensive stance to deflect his attack. The surrounding German Soldiers are watching us Fight with an awe. Karl's Machetes clanged with my Sabre. He repeatedly slashed his machetes against me but i dodged all of his slashes. I began to Slash my Sabre to counter him but he blocked all my attack using his dual machetes. We clanged our Blades again after that

"You know what? I really hate Nuisances that tried to spoil my efforts...especially you!" He sneered at me still clanging his Blades against mine

"Well, i am a 'Nuisance' that Will stop your Fuhrer's Orders" i mocked him. He looks really angry and then he stopped attacking as he backed away from me and so am i. We got into our Battle Stances. I glared at him and he returned the glare. Then he threw away his Machetes on the ground and looked at me with an evil smirk while i looked at him in confusion. What did this Lunatic wanted? Death?

     Suddenly, he pulled out a Huge Battle Axe with lots of spikes around its metal part from his back. He hold that axe in both of his hand and got back in his battle stance. He got that devious smile back on his creepy face

"Now, Prepare to meet your real DOOM!" He sneered as he lunged at me with the massive axe. I quickly got on my defensive stance and tried to block his attack but the attack was too strong. I need to find a way outsmarted him. Then i got an idea: I'll release my defense, backed away, and then kick his abdomen. But before i could do that, he already got me pushed as i stumbled on the ground. I cried in pain as i look up to see Karl pointing his massive axe at my neck and stomped his feet on my Chest. I looked around to see the Jerries Soldiers are all clapping for Karl

"Now, it's time for you to Die!!!" He said as he brought down his massive axe and was about to Kill me. But then a Gunfire could be heard. A Jerries got shot in the head. Karl eyes widened in surprise as he looks towards the direction where the shots came from. I looked at where the gunshot came from as i smiled. It was Amy who shot the German soldier in the head. She's assisted with Mike and a Few British soldier both from my division and other divisions. I smiled at the sight of the rescuer. I looked up to see Karl was distracted by them. It's my chance to escape

     So, i kicked him back as he stumbled on the ground as i stand up and began sprinted towards where Amy and  the others are. I could heard Karl cursed in frustration before he turned towards his men. He pointed his finger at me and the others

"schnappt sie!" He shouted as the Jerries open fire at me. Then i looked back at Amy and the other. They readied their Guns and aimed it at the Jerries

"Cover Fire! Distract the Germans from killing the Lieutenant!" Amy said to the others as they returned fire at the Jerries so that the Jerries will be having troubles on trying to kill me. I looked at the Jerries to see Karl already disappeared. Hmm, that's odd

     After i caught up with Amy and the others, i quickly went to Amy. When she sees me she quickly ran to me and hugged me. I returned her hug

"Oh thank God your okay" she whispered to me. I smiled

"Yeah" i whispered back. Then we broke our and i turned to the others who's still having a firefight with the Jerries

"Okay, everyone! We need to regroup! Let's find the 257th Infantry Brigade!" I told them. They nodded in agreement as we sprinted away from this place through the Town to find the 257th Infantry Brigade nicknamed 'Holy Knight'

"Follow me! I know where they are!" I told at the others while sprinting to the location of the 257th Infantry. When we're sprinting towards the location, we got caught up with M!Jesse's Group whose running in the opposite direction. Probably towards the Bad Luck Alley

"Jesse!" I shouted to get his attention. He stopped running looked around to search where am i "over here!" i shouted again. This time, he and his group sees me

"Come on guys! Theres John!" Jesse said to his Group as he and his groups sprinted towards us

"Hah, Glad we found you guys! Otherwise, we have no way to go!" M!Jesse said while panting "Well, except for the Bad Luck Alley" i chuckled

"Yeah, those Germans overpowered us! We barely found a way out! Yeez!" Petra said panting

"We did manage to hold them for a while though until they killed some of our Militias and tore down the Gate with their huge cannon" Jack said while scratching his neck

"Well, it's a good thing you found us because we're going to one of the proudest British Infantry Brigade, the 257th Infantry Brigade! They're somewhere defending the Second line  of defense in the Northern sector with Well Fortifications and Defenses! Let's go there!" I told them. They looked at each other then looked back at me and nodded

"Well, better than running to nowhere" M!Jesse shrugged. I smiled

"Okay, lets Go! Follow me!" I told them. They nodded as the Beacontowners followed me and my Groups to find the 257th Infantry Brigade infantry the Northern sector. Hopefully, we can hold the attackers for a while until the Royal Navy Fleets and Air Force and The Rest of the British Resistance and the Royal Italian Resistance came to our aid along with our other Allies: United States of America, France, Soviet Union, and United China. We will win the war for the Free world
