“Why don't you practipate?” Sid asked, taking a seat beside me. —I shook my head and looked at Varun who was practicing for the dance competition.

“I am not interested, Sid.” I said, focusing on the novel I was reading. To be frank, I like dance and I enjoy it. But, I am not that good to take part in competition.

“How is Alia, anyway?” I asked.

“Getting better. I helped her discharge from the hospital and she needs to take rest for atleast a week.” He said.

Alia and Varun had enrolled their names for the dance competition. But, unfortunately Alia got injured during the practice and now she cannot take part in it.

Varun requested me to come as his partner as Alia backed off but I declined as I am not that good in dancing and in no match to Varun because I must say when it comes to dancing, he is too good.

“It's really boring without her.” Sid said.

“Missing her aldready.” I teased and Sid's face turned like a tomato in an instant.

“Sid, are you blushing like a girl?” I asked, laughing making Sid to cover his face with his hand.

“No, I am not.” He said.

“Sid, admit you have a crush on Alia.” I said, nudging him by his shoulder.

“Yes.........what no.” He said making me laugh louder.

“I hate you, Shraddha.” He said, getting up from the seat.

“Sure, you hate me now because you have got somone to love.” I yelled. —He turned back and gave me a 'I will kill you' look before marching off.

I chuckled before turning my attention back to Varun who now stood talking to a girl making me confused.

Who is he talking to?

They both shook hands before the girl hugged Varun making my stomach boil.

What the hell?

Varun looked at my direction before they both marched in my direction. I smiled hard trying to look normal as possible.

“Shraddha, she is Kriti......my dancing partner.” He said.

“Hi.” She said, chirpily while I smiled and looked at Varun.

“Can we leave now?” I asked.

“Aren't we going to pratice now?” Kriti asked.

“It's aldready four now.” Varun said, looking at his watch.

“Oh come on Varun. The comeptation is in five days and it's aldready late. We can't loose any more time.” She said while Varun looked at me.
