Oh hey it's me! Back at it again with another useless story yayyyy! (Please note the sarcasm)
I was feeling really really bad but I couldn't get out of the house so I imagined being in the ocean. I've always found water very calming.
Also, a song that inspired this story bit.

Cold water laps at your ankles, the surface sliver under the pale moonlight, your clothing ripples in the breeze, leaving goosebumps down your arms and legs. The sand beneath your feet is soft but warm. Your gaze drifts out towards the horizon, so far away and simple. The colours fading together in blue and black. No other colours making it confusing, just two, simple and plain. You begin walking slowly towards the colours, the small waves in the water rise above your ankles, your knees, soon it's up to your hips. Your hands hover above the water, not yet wet, they feel cold but not unpleasantly.
The underwater currents push gently at your legs, and your heartbeat seems to calm. Your head emptying of all thoughts except that you are in the water.
A single thought slips into your mind and you dive head first into the ocean. Suddenly you're fully surrounded by water.
You open your eyes.
No violent greys, or blacks, or dark reds, or purples, just blue. A calming light blue.
Above you the distorted watery moon looks almost as if it's watching over you.
Tiny silver bubbles like pearls escape your mouth and float up past your eyes to the surface, like small mirrors you see yourself, your hair like seaweed waving in the water and your eyes almost glowing in the light blue.
Strangely you don't seem to be sinking but just staying, hovering, just under the surface of the water. You bring your hand up and gaze at it, your skin has a light blue colour on it, from the moonlight through the water. It's beautiful.
Having to breath, you glide up through the sea and reach the surface, it breaks and sends ripples outwards from you. The cold night air fills your lungs but the blue colour is gone from your skin. Instantly your mind is densly packed with thoughts, the what if's, the maybe's, the should've done's. You inhale once more and stop kicking your legs. You sink under the water. Your mind empty again and your skin that calm light blue.
You stay there for a while, a rhythm of rising and inhaling and sinking.
When the moon has moved towards the sea a great deal, you start to swim to the shore, unwilling to leave your place of comfort you stand there, the waves gently lapping at your ankles again, until the sky has turned pink with the coming sun.
You glance back at the water and see a hand waving, it's finger tips not nails but scales. The same blue green scales cover the tail that appears when the hand vanishes. You smile to yourself and walk away knowing you'll come back here tomorrow.
