the number of acne doesn't matter
to her, they are actually just like stars
shining in the night sky of her laughter
judgments will live, whispers will exist
no care, although her eyes held a mist
her courage never died
no flaws to hide
the dark shadows of her deep brown eyes
they never cease to grow, she didn't bother
they were natural eyeshadow, no tricks or lies
those dark circles held her hard work
for her they weren't dull, they held a spark
no ego or pride
no flaws to hide
her lips were soft and pale, all colour drained
her hands couldn't touch those costly lipsticks
they, her lips, were already bloodstained
with the numerous times, she nibbled on those lips
to stop herself from crying, she bit her fingertips
no teardrops to slide
no flaws to hide
her cheeks weren't flooded with the fake blush
they glowed red whenever they wished to
like when she would be around her crush
or the various times the sunlight kissed her
natural beauty was what she used to prefer
life's a journey, a ride
no flaws to hide
