my eyes roamed around the room
settling on you and your silver gown
enchanted with your beauty and glow
your presence wiped away my frown
my fixed eyes met your blue orbs
which had those beautiful silver streaks
you smirked and shot a wink at me
a furious blush covered my cheeks
your confident smile met my shy one
as we danced clumsily around the hall
smiling at the silver bracelet on your arms
that I gifted you on your birthday in fall
the silver moon broke through the clouds
my eyes fluttered closed as your lips met mine
out in the chilly breeze of Christmas Eve
under the mistletoe, shivers ran down my spine
your soft hands cupped my bright red face
as my hands gripped your waist tightly
caressing your brown hair with silver highlights
while you looked up at me smiling widely
there were fireworks of golden and silver
inside my body, my heart and my soul
your fingertips left trails of golden and silver
making me kiss you, losing my self-control

the sparks we get when we love someone are golden and silver.
