It's Friday already. I woke up around 7am to quickly make breakfast for Aayan. Ever since I cooked lunch the other day, he refused to have anything except it's made by me. Not even Laura's, and that's saying something because she's a fantastic chef. So i do most--well all--of the cooking. I'll cook breakfast for him before he leaves. Sometimes he'll take the lunch with him or it'll be taken to him if it's not ready on time. And lastly I'll cook dinner and we'll have it together.
I made strawberry lemon poppyseed pancakes and coffee for Aayan.

After clearing the kitchen and putting the dirty dishes in the dishwasher, I set the table.
Done! Aayan came in the dining room putting on his cuff links. He's dressed in a black suit with a white dress shirt and black tie, he's ditching the blazer today.
"Sabahul khayr; good morning." I greeted.
"Morning Jawahir. How was your night?"
"It was fine Alhamdulillah."
I usually don't have breakfast at this time but since I'm not going back to sleep today, I sat down to eat. The maids are already cleaning the house, they are now upstairs. They arrive here as early as six. They usually clean downstairs first before proceeding to the rooms upstairs.
"So I'll come back after Jumu'a prayer then we can get going, Okay?"
I nodded. That gives me four hours to get ready. I have enough time.
