S U M M A R Y
– the devil and I get along just fine
Rowan Davis had spent the better part of the past seven years in isolation. She refused to connect with people or even attempt at reconnecting with her old friends, she felt it was better for everyone that way. When Rowan was younger, things she couldn't even begin to explain happened.
She had powers she couldn't control erupt out of her and Rowan knew her powers were corrupted and dark. She felt how strong they were, and how at any moment they could gain control and destroy everything within her path and to protect everyone she locked herself away.
Not that she really minded, she didn't like people much anymore. She was good with them but she still stayed away. Truth be told Rowan was terrified if she got close to anyone it could end up with them in an early grave.
But making your invisible to everyone hurt, never be seen by anyone got to her. She felt alone, and she was terrified to be anything but alone, but thanks to a group of kids at her high school her quiet life would never be the same again. Weirdly enough, she wouldn't have had it any other way.
