Eric was glad to see her sister Cassandra. Cassandra was 20 years old. She was the younger sister of Eric. She went to LA to complete her studies. She is sweet. Eric and Cassandra are quite opposite. Eric runs behind money, and Cassandra runs behind her passion. Eric is hot minded and Cassandra is calm. Eric likes to party and get drunk and Cassandra likes to go to parks and read love stories. Cassandra wants to be a writer and Eric is a CEO.
Although, after being so dissimilar they both love each other so much cause, of course, they both are brother-sister. Eric pulled back from the hug and Cassandra gave him her biggest smile.
"How...I mean when d-did uh....you" Eric was stammering cause he was so surprised by seeing his sister.
Cassandra giggled and said "I thought to surprise you and mom and dad. When I'll reach home they will be so happy"
"Of course, they will be so happy" Eric said.
"Oh, I've disturbed you, you do your work I'll leave" Cassandra said, noticing his table full of files.
"Hey no, I am leaving right now and you are coming with me" He stated.
"No Eric, work is also important. And where am I going now? Now I am here until you want" Cassandra said trying to convince him.
"I want you to stay here forever" Eric said and Cassandra smiled. Eric has always been a sweet brother. He never wanted to let her go to LA, cause he will be all alone then.
"So should I go?" Cassandra said.
He smiled and nodded though he didn't want to let her but he doesn't have another choice. Cassandra left the cabin. After some minutes he heard a knock on his door. In his raspy voice, he said
"Come in"
He saw Alissa walked inside with a file. He looked at her and smiled, but he realised that she is feeling a bit uneasy. So he put up a straight face.
"Sir, I have completed this file. And we have a meeting with Mr Jhon Smith which we cancelled a few days back. It is tomorrow at 2:30, and again he said he will email the address" This time Alissa without getting nervous said all of it.
She at first was amazed at herself but felt more confident after that. Eric noticed that and smirked looking at her. He never saw her looking so confident. Eric remembers when he was a kid. He used to look like he is confident and all, but from inside the used to freak out. Eric was in a boarding school. Children used to bully him because he was from a rich family. They used to punch him or kick him.
He started to learn boxing. Just to prevent himself from those bullies. When he came back home he realised that his mom and dad are not on good terms. His mom is cheating on his dad. She used to lie to him that she is going out for her job but in reality, she used to mess around with a man. Who was filthy rich. Richer than his father Richard.
They both used to scream at each other the whole night. Eric used to lock himself in the room so that he doesn't have to face all that shouting. Cassandra was quite small at that time to understand that stuff. Eric also has a brother named Ethan. He was older than Eric. He is 26 right now. He most of the times used to stay at his friend's home. He never had good relationships with his parents.
Eric and Ethan are very close, but because of some circumstances, they don't get to see each other as often as they love to. Once Richard and his mom whose name was Kourtney. They were shouting, screaming and spatting at each other. The fight went too far that Richard raised his hand on Kourtney. That day they put an end to their relationship. Next week the divorce papers were signed and every fight was stopped. Soon they heard the news of Kourtney and that rich man getting married. Richard also founded Josephine for him. Although, Eric never accepted Josephine as her mother neither he ever accepted Kourtney as his mother too.
But he soon understood that this world revolves around money. People started to call him arrogant and money-minded as he grew up. Ethan never ran behind money, he was always interested in cooking and today he is the number one chef of Romania. Richard after getting married to Josephine, started to work hard. They both used to leave for business trips and earned lots of money through their business. They got a good lifestyle and everything.
Eric was stopped from being bullied. Eric grew up and his dad Richard gave his position to Eric. Eric never believed in love. Cause he knew that girls will only marry him for money. No one would genuinely love him. No one would keep his profession at one side and will try to look through his character. Everyone who will come around him will be a gold digger. For him, love is to mess around with different girls. He knows that if he has money he doesn't need any other person to keep him entertained. Eric is filthy rich and can throw as much money he wants.
He thinks that if he will ever fall in love with a girl there will be only two reasons
1) He is bankrupt
2) He has been hypnotized
Although, no such thing is ever going to happen. But Eric knows that love is far from his life and at the end of the day all he will ever have is his bottle of wine and lots of money. Or most probably his dearest people in life Cassandra and Ethan.
