Alissa

When I got up from sleep, I saw a message from Eric in which it was written that today is a day off of the company

Probably cause he got married!!!

That shit hits hard. I swear to god. I was still not able to sink that shit inside of me. I am just thinking that this phase has to pass. Like, even if I have to cry every single night, I have to move on. Because I am going to see his face every single day and I have to accept the fact that instead of me it was Cheryl who took vows in that church.

I went to cook some food. Jade was still sleeping in her room. I thought not to disturb her. I cooked some bacon and scrambled eggs. It can lighten my mood a bit, I thought. Last night was almost spent crying. I just don't think I will ever be able to move on and I will ever find the true love of my life. I want to forget whatever happened between me and Eric. I know it must be easy for him to move on........I guess. It's just a wild guess maybe he is also missing me and cursing his luck. Maybe he wants to get back to me. Maybe he must be thinking about me like I am thinking about him right now.

Stop Alissa. You have to move on. You can't live like that. I made my breakfast and went to wake up Jade who was sleeping like a princess right now. Carefree. I wish I could have a life like that. Carefree. I woke her up and she quickly got ready. We both ate our food in complete silence. No one was in the mood of talking. But she suddenly spoke to me.

"Why haven't you been to the office today?"

"It's a day off" I replied in a flat tone.

She just hummed and we both finished our breakfast. Later, she went to her room and I was left alone thinking about what to do. I looked at the clock and it was 10:28. I thought to clean up the house. So I cleaned the whole house. I washed the clothes. I washed the dishes. Jade did the dusting. I rearranged my small little library. Those love novels staring right through me. I huffed and started to arrange them in much better order.

I looked at the clock and now it was 1:15. Wow! Time passed pretty quick.

I lied in my bed and realising I haven't been giving any time to myself. All I have been doing is crying and going to the office and not staying at home that is why it was getting so hard to stay at home. I should have given time to myself. I suddenly heard my doorbell ring. I saw Jade coming out of her room. We both stepped down the stairs and I opened the door only to find Cassandra there with a huge smile. I was pretty confused seeing her. Because she should be at the wedding. Has she came here to invite me. Wait? What is happening?

She captured me in a warm hug and I returned that hug.

She looked at me and said
"Haven't gotten much sleep huh?" I laughed and tried to answer but what could I have even said.

"Hi Jade" Cassandra said and captured her in a hug as well.

"Why you are not at the wedding?" I asked.

"It's already done" She said breaking my heart into millions of pieces.

"Early right?" I said and she nodded.

"I came here to know why you both never showed up at the wedding?" She said crossing her arms.

"I was not well" I said.

"I can see that. Just look at you. You are looking quite weak. You are not eating or what?" She exclaimed.

I just shrugged and we both sat on the couch and Jade went back to her room not bothered by this world at all.

"Just go and get ready. It's a day off today. So let's hang out" She said.

"Why are you coming with me?" I asked.
