The rain was getting worse, and I needed to find shelter for Joshua. He was sneezing and trembling, and the cold wind didn't make it any better. I scanned the areas around me, trying to find a place where we can stay at.

I held Joshua's hand, as we walked down the vacant street of Detroit. My lips twitched up a little at the sight of a hotel, but immediately turned into a frown once I saw the "no androids allowed" sign on the door. I blinked, and scanned the area some more.

"(Y/N)?" I heard Joshua call out weakly. I stopped walking and crouched down to his height. I scanned him, and it seems that he's beginning to get a cold. "I don't feel so good, is there any place that we can stay that's warm?" He asked, titling his head. I shook my head at him.

"No, there isn't. But I'll find somewhere that we can stay at." I say, and Joshua nods. "Okay..." He muttered, and we began to walk silently again.

We walked a little more, until I saw something move in the corner of my eye. I stopped walking and looked towards where I saw it. "(Y/N), is something wrong?" Joshua asked, and I slowly shook my head. "Yes, everything is alright. I just...saw something." I answered, not taking my eyes away from where the moment came from.

"Let's go." I say, hesitantly breaking my gaze away. I pulled Joshua along with me, but my pace quickened at the crashing sound behind us.

"(Y/N)..." Joshua whispered, fear in his tone. I gripped my hand around his tighter, and looked behind me to see if anyone was there.

Nothing.

I blinked, then turned my head to look ahead of us. A moment later, I heard Joshua scream in fright. I snapped my head to the side, to see a figure hidden in an alleyway. I couldn't see what they looked like, since the shadows covered them.

I stopped walking once more, and stared intently at the figure. A few seconds later, I watched as the figure stepped out from the dark alleyway, and into the moonlight.

My eyes widened slightly at the tattered android before us. The right part of his cheek was cut off, revealing the circuits beneath. The android suit that he wore, was ripped up a little, as if he gotten into a fight. The LED on the side of his head, was a yellow that was flashing rapidly.

He tilts his head, and stares at us with a curious gaze.

"Are you lost?"

Hey guys! Sorry for the short chapter, and super late update. But, I have something to make up for that. I've decided to make a "Special Chapter" to dedicate the 1k votes I have on this story! I'm currently working on it, and so far it has over 3,000 words, and I'm not even halfway down with it yet. So, look forward to that ^-^

Anyways, I hope you like this chapter nonetheless. I hope you have an awesome day/night!
