Chapter 22

Brooklyn----

I woke up with a pounding headache and my back hurts as well. My ankles were tied to a chair. A long with my hands. It was too dark to see where I was. I think I may be in a basement since my feet are touching the cold floor. 

I heard the door open from my left side. I could feel their body stand next to me. I then felt a sting on my cheek. I've just been slapped and I can't say anything because I might get another one. I then felt a punch to my gut. Seriously ! If the boys never adopted me then I would'nt have been here getting beaten in the dark. 

" Enough ! The little twit's had enough. Leave. " That voice , I haven't heard it in three years. Dad!

" Well , well , well look who we have here . Brooklyn King or shall I say Tomlinson . ''        He still had that sweet voice it's the words that are rough.

'' I-I-I thought you were d-dead . '' I don't know why I stuttered it's not like I haven't seen him in three years because I 'killed' him. Oh wait I haven't . 

'' Well you thought wrong. That was your uncle Jeff. We had a make-up artist put a mask that looked similar to mine on his face. Of course we paid him to put the mask on. He didn't know he would have to die though. I mean I was the one driving the truck and I did put sleeping medication in his water. You just woke him which scared him . Making him step on the gas pedal. So here I am . '' He really was proud wasn't he. Me and Uncle Jeff were close or so I thought.

'' What about Bridget's mom Misty ? " Weird name I know but it fits her she is weird after all.

'' Oh yeah we did the same thing to her. We used aunt Carol. Since Jeff and Carol were married we thought both had to go. ''   Why does he keep saying ' we ' ?

" Da-John why do you keep saying ' we ' ?''  I know  I almost called him dad but can you blame me . He is  my dad after all. By blood that is.

'' Hit the lights !'' He yelled I guess the person before was there. 

You'll never believe who were standing at the door.

 CLIFFHANGER !!!!! I know , I know don't hate me . I just wanted to leave you hanging a bit more ( A/N Get it ? No....I need to stop.) Anyway Double update ! Woohoo ! Who know's could be triple .
