Hi! Publishing this chapter a day early. This is the longest chapter I've written so far, so I split it into 2 parts.

Hope you enjoy reading, and, if you do, please don't forget to vote.

Kit POV

Ming and I plan to spend the entire day with N'Yo, so we called for back up. Good thing it's Saturday, so Beam and Forth are free to spend it with us.

"They'll be here after lunch," I tell Ming as we climb the stairs. When we turn round the corner from the staircase, I noticed several packages in front of N'Yo's room. Are those flowers and gift boxes? I look at Ming but he doesn't seem surprised.

We reach N'Yo's door and my boyfriend nonchalantly picks up the gifts and opens the door, letting me in first. He has a key to N'Yo's room, they're bestfriends after all. My mouth fell upon seeing the inside. It's like a gift shop in here. A table full of flowers by the window, another table full of plush toys, gift boxes piled on the floor and a stack of cards on the coffee table. There are even balloons floating by the seating area.

Does N'Yo have a suitor? Maybe suitors? Oh, maybe Ai'Pha is chasing him again! I knew it. Maybe my bestfriend finally hit his head and wants to get back together with his love. Does Ming know about this?

I look at Ming standing behind me and see a worried expression on his face. I follow his gaze and see a sleeping N'Yo. Oh, my! Poor Yo, he is crying even in his sleep. I look at Ming as he puts the gifts on the study desk and gestures me to sit on the sofa. I wade through the maze of balloon strings and settle myself down. I can't help but look around one more time and take in all these wonderful gifts. The gifts make the room seem so alive; opposite to the aura its owner is giving off.

Ming sits beside me and puts his arm over my shoulder, pulling me to lean on his chest. "Mingkwan, is there something I should know about?" I ask him.

"Hmm, are you talking about these gifts, P'Kitkat?"

I just hum in response. Ming heaves a deep sigh then tells me, "no, P'Kit, they're not from P'Pha."

"Oh, for a second there, I had a wishful thinking," I answer. "I know. I had one, too, when I first learned about these," he responds while touching the balloon strings with his free hand.

"So who sent them? Does N'Yo have a suitor?" I follow up. "I think it's better if he tells you himself. Let's just wait for him to wake up," Ming tells me.

I just nod in agreement.

Ming POV

It's already past lunch time and Yo is still asleep. P'Kit and I are just patiently waiting for Yo to wake up and for P'Beam and P'Forth to arrive. While exchanging sweet nothings, we heard voices outside.

Knock. Knock.

I get up and open the door. I can see P'Beam's and P'Forth's surprised looks upon entering. Just like my P'Kitkat, they're both baffled with what they're seeing.

"What's with all these gifts?" P'Forth asks no one.

"Did my jerk of a bestfriend get back together with N'Yo?" P'Beam asks me, while giving me a sharp look.

I gesture for them to settle down by the seating area without answering them. I can see P'Beam still looking around in awe, while P'Forth looks at the sleeping Yo from afar.

"Oh, by the way, we brought food for everyone," P'Forth shows us the paper bag he's holding and puts it on the coffee table.

"I know you guys want to know about these gifts, but let's wait for Yo to wake up so he can tell you himself," I tell them.

After waiting for another half hour, Yo begins to finally stir. I stand up and head over to the bed to sit beside him.

"Hey, buddy, wake up. You have visitors," I tell him while smiling and tapping his shoulder. He tries opening his eyes but with little success because of the heavy swelling of his eyelids from too much crying. He looks at me then at the rest of our friends. Yo slowly sits up while rubbing his eye with the back of his palm.

"Hi, N'Yo! We brought lunch for you," P'Forth greets. I look over to their direction and saw my boyfriend and P'Beam with guilty looks, unable to utter anything and meet Yo's eyes.

Yo just looks at them expressionless. I try to break the awkward silence by speaking again. "Ai'Yo, P'Kit and P'Beam are also here to see you."

I look at P'Kit and signal for him to come closer. He drags P'Beam with him and they stand beside the bed. P'Forth joins them soon after.

"Uhm, hi N'Yo," P'Kit says, while scratching his nape, looking at the floor. "I'm sorry about what happened and for what my friend did."

"Me too, N'Yo," P'Beam chimes in. "Kit and I both feel bad and guilty. Sorry we only showed ourselves to you now."

"Nong, P' is sorry, too, for only showing up now," P'Forth says in a sad tone.

There was another awkward silence and I can sense the older guys feeling dejected as Yo just stares at them expressionless. I want to break the gloom that's starting to fill the room, but before I can say anything, my bestfriend starts to speak.

"Ps', please stop," Yo tells them. "None of this is your fault and I understand why you only approached me now."

Yo looks at them and shows a sad smile. He inhales deeply and starts to talk again. "I know he is your bestfriend and it's natural to stand by his side at a time like this." He looks at me and continues, "I would've done the same for Ming."

Feeling touched by his words, I reach out to hold his arm, giving it a little squeeze while showing him a half smile.

"Uhm, well, nong, that's not actually what happened," P'Beam says. Yo looks at him confused.

"You see, we would've wanted to stand by his side and understand him, but the thing is we didn't get the chance to do so," P'Kit tries to explain, but it just confused Yo more.

Sensing that this is gonna be a long talk, P'Forth does what he does best - mediate. "Okay. Why don't we talk about this while having late lunch?" he intervenes. "Nong, I know you have a lot of questions, and these two can tell you their story while we eat. Okay?"

Yo looks hesitant, but P'Forth's not having it. "Nong, you really need to eat. You've become so skinny," he soothingly tells my bestfriend. "How about we make a deal? If you agree to eat, we will answer all your questions and tell you everything."

Yo finally accepts and nods.

Thank heavens for P'Forth. "Go freshen up, buddy. We'll set up the table," I say, pulling him up from bed and pushing him gently towards the bathroom.
