Tony made his way back to the party deck where the avengers, Agent Coulson, and Pepper were. "I can't believe you made a deal with (y/n), and let her stay at the tower! We don't even know that much about her" Steve said angrily. "What else was I supposed to do? Not agree to her deal and let her get away? Cuz last time I checked I thought we needed her!" Tony says raising his voice a little as he goes on. "We do need her. But at the cost of what,(y/n) hijacking us in the middle of the night? I thought you were smart Tony." that was the only thing Bruce had really said tonight. "Calm down everyone Stark has probably already come up with a solution to every possible outcome" Thor says while holding his hands apart at shoulder level. " haven't you Stark?" he finishes as Tony nods. "Besides, lady (y/n) is only (y/a) years of age. What damage could she possibly do?" Thor quickly but subtly adds. "I wouldn't count on her age to reflect anything about her." Natasha says before sitting down. "If she is a spy or someone sent to hurt us, she will have powers, years of training and experience." she says before taking a sip of wine. "Um were you all or were you all not at the Shawarma joint with me? She does have powers in years of training with those powers! Her father and boyfriend abused and experimented on her" Tony pauses to take a sip of his whiskey. "And that's not all, she's been running away from them for the past two and a half years. But of course you all would know that from the story she just told us, right?" Tony asked a little frustrated. The whole room got quiet until Pepper and Coulson finally spoke. "Why don't you ask (Y/n) to stay at the tower a little bit longer?" Pepper and Coulson said at the same time and finished by looking at each other. "Just until we can learn more about her." Coulson added. "That, and I think it'll be fun to have new company around for once." Pepper said enthusiastically after Coulson. The whole room looked at Tony anxiously waiting an answer. Tony looked at everyone in the room, down at his whiskey, and back up at everyone again. His eyes and throat stung, there was a tightening pain in his chest, he tilted his head up and said,"No." Everyone in the room including Natasha was shocked at his answer. She could see that he didn't feel lonely, sad, or a stressed-out when you were around. He treated you like he has never treated anyone in his entire life.
He treated you like family. From the not so awkward silences to the mad and frustrated feeling he got when he found out someone had hurt you, treated you wrong, or mad you feel like nothing.
'I can't believe I feel this way towards a random teenager who has nothing.' Tony thought as everyone exited the party deck and piled into the elevator. " Just think about it Tony. Will you?" said Natasha before the elevator doors closed.
" (Y/n) did say she didn't have a family," Tony said to himself as he poured himself another glass of whiskey.

"And I have always wanted a daughter." he said quietly before taking a sip from his glass.
