You continued to look up at the blond headed woman until you asked, "You don't have a ring on, are you single?" letting the words accidentally slip out of your mouth, as your eyes widened at what you had just said. "I-I'm sorry." you stuttered with your eyes still wide as you looked at blonde lady. "Haha, it alright." Pepper said giggling as she sat on the bed beside you and Peter. "Between you and me, it's extremely complicated." Pepper said in your ear before pulling away. "How 'complicated'?" you asked with a hint of joking tone in your voice. "Well.....for one, he ate without me on date night, started working on one of his 'hobbies' and was 'checking up' on me. Which means spying, and he took me dancing, we went to the Rooftop, he went to go get me a drink and never came back." Pepper said with a small laugh at the end, while putting air quotes over the words hobbies and checking up. "Haha, what else happened? Anymore good stories?" you asked with a joking, curious tone. "Well" Pepper began," there was this one time he told me, he was going to make me an omelette and tell me he was 'dying'." Pepper continued while also putting air quotes around the word dying, and saying it in a sarcastic tone. "Oh my gosh. Now I understand what you mean by complicated." You say well looking at pepper and then over to Peter who has a sad look on his face. "What's wrong Peter?" you ask why you lean over and put your head on his shoulder. "N-nothing, just lost in thought." He said as his frown disappeared into a smile.
You looked at him and gave him a warm smile, and kisses him on the cheek. "Ok. We're still going ice skating?" you asked while looking at Peter with a smile. "Of course." Peter said as he stood up. "Ill get your jacket, and we can leave in about 15 minutes, or you want." Peter said as he got you your blue pull over jacket and handed it to you. "Yeah. Sounds great." He told Peter as he looked over at Pepper,"Would you like to go with us?" You asked Pepper,"Its going to be Peter, my dad, and myself." You added. "Oh I-I would love to, but I would want to impose." Pepper said with a smile, even though she really wanted to go.
"You won't impose, I invited you." you said with a smile, noticing that she wanted to go. "Well, if you're sure. I'd love to." Pepper said as she grabbed her jacket off the frame of the bed and put it on. "Ok, i'll let dad know." you said as you stood up and walked over to the other bed and sat down. "D-dad?" You asked while looking up at Tony. "What is it sweetheart?" He responded while not looking up from his notes. "We are about to go ice skating, are you ready?" You asked, while Tony just nodded. "Yeah, just let me put these up." He said while looking at his notes as he picked them up and put them in the bag. Afterwords Tony put on his shoes and jacket. "You guys can go wait in the car, i'll be there in a minute." Tony said as he continued to look at the notes and the items in the bag. "O-oh ok." you said as you, Peter and Pepper walked out the door and headed for the car. "I wonder what's on those on notes?" Pepper said only loud enough for her to hear, or so she thought. But you hear her clear as day. Not wanting her to know that you knew, you kept quiet and continue to walk beside Peter and Pepper, until all three of you got to the car and got comfortable.
After Tony was done looking over notes and putting them in the bag as fast as he could he ran to the car where three were. When he got in he was greeted by multiple,"What took so long? Where you were? That took forever." and other assortment of questions. "I just had to do something." Tony said right before the car started to move.
The silence was very uncomfortable, so you decided to start a conversation with Pepper.

"So Pepper? Who was the guy you were talking about?" you asked.
