You sat on the floor and continued to trace the reactor.
"Green." you say with a smile and slight chuckle. "I wonder why he picked green?" you ask yourself out loud with a huge grin on your face, as you reached for the dresser, to help yourself up.
You tiptoed to the doorway and peeked out, not wanted anyone to see you, just yet.
You peered out and saw, Pepper and Peter, talking to each other in the corner of the room. And Tony, sitting on the couch, going through paper work, and talking to jarvis.
"Oh Damn! I forgot!" you say quietly yelling.
"Um...A.I, guy?" you say a little loudly. "This guy really needs a name." you tell yourself in your mind. "Yes maam?" the A.I said.
"Umm...wh-...why is the reactor green?" you ask, while making a stupid expression on your face.
"The reactor is green, because Mr.Stark programmed it to change colour, based on your physical health state." The A.I responded.
"Would you like to hear what the colours mean?" The A.I continued. "Sure." you say, as you walk back into the medical room that you were staying in.
"Green means, stable or that you are doing alright. Blue means you have lost significants amount of blood. Red indicates that you have a broken bone, and reactor will blink to notify what bone it is. Yellow means th-"
"Hold on." you say cutting the A.I off. "How many times can the rector change to indicate that something is wrong?" you ask the A.I, not know weather to feel emotional or overwalmed. "Not counting the possibility of every individual bone that could be broken. 1,248 possible changes, not limited to colour and blinking lights."
Damn...he thought of everything! You say in your head as you walk back to the door way.
You walk outside with your arms straight in front of you and start to fake limp out of the ER, like a stereotypical zombie, and when everyone had their eyes on you, you yelled with the up most confidence,"I live bitches!"
And before you could say anything else, Tony run at you at full speed, and gave you a bear hug, while spinning you around. When Tony finally put you down he looked at you like he was about to cry.
"We''ll talk about your language later....But I'm so happy your all right." Tony said, opening the flood gates, as tears started to roll down his face.
You couldn't help but look at Tony as tears rolled down his face.
You have made grown men cry out tears of pain before, on 'mission's' that your biological father would force you to go on.
But the tears that were going down your dads face made your arms tingle, go numb and hurt, while making you weak in the knees out of empathy.
"D-dad." you said while launching yourself onto Tony and hugging him again.
"I missed you sweetheart." Tony said as he kissed your right cheek, forehead, and then your left cheek. Making you want to cry. While you and Tony were still hugging, you could see out of the corner of your eye, Peter and Pepper walking over to you.
You look at Pepper as she starts to cry. You let go of Tomy again and start moving towards Pepper. "I'm so sorry!" she says as she holds her face to cover her crying. "Its ok. I'm fine." you say as you extend your arms and show off your reactor, unintentionally.
"Y-you have a r-reactor!?" Pepper and Peter said at the same time in shock looking at you and then at Tony. Your face and palm turned a cherry red colour out of embarrassment.
"Yea." you said covering your chest, realizing you weren't wearing a shirt, only your bandages. Peter takes off his jacket at puts it on you, making sure to zip it up.
"Tony!? How could you put an arc reactor in (y/n)!?" Pepper says, obviously mad.
"I didn't have a choice." Tony says softly as he looks at the ground.
"Her heart stoped beating....and....and....there wasn't enough time. I made a reactor a while back that was still in the prototype phase, that was ment to simulate and replace the heart, that's why when you took off the heart monitor that was clipped to your finger, the machine didn't flat-line....because you.....you...don't have a 'normal' heart, anymore." Tony says while looking down in shame. "Why did you put a prototype reactor in her?" Pepper said, worried.
"She has already flat-lined. It was either try the reactor...or loose (y/n). And I couldn't loose her." Tony said, moving his head from the ground to you, with eyes begging for forgiveness. How could you not forgive him, he saved your life, gave you a better life, and was your dad.
"Thank you dad." you say as you unzip the jacket that was on you, just enough to see the green light on it, and started to trace it with your finger.
  You could sense the tension in the room and decided to make a joke, as a way of coping with anxiety, fear, sadness, pain and almost everything that you could think of.
"So how did you know I like the colour green?....Was it the hulk socks that gave it away?" you say with a smile and start to wiggle your toes, showing off your hulk socks with a black rim. Tony, Pepper and Peter started to giggle at your little joke, as they looked at your socks.
"I don't know if NOW is the best time to ask. But what are we having for lunch? I'm starving." you say as you walk towards the fridge and take out a (favourite drink) and start to drink it.
"I was thinking about ordering Chinese food. You can walk with me to the restaurant to pick it up, if you want." Peter said as you smiled at him and nodded.
"I would really enjoy that." you say as you walk I've to Peter and give him a hug, followed by a kiss. "You look taller." you tell Peter as you walk with him into the living room and sit on the couch. "Make sure to order (favourite Chinese food dish)" you say jokingly.

"You still havent told her." Pepper said whispering to Tony.
"I don't know if I can." Tony said holding his arm.
"Tony.....she's been asleep for a year. I think she deserves to know." Pepper said with a shaking voice.

"Ill tell her soon."
