You sat with Peter and started eating your food, when you felt someone staring at you.
"Can I help you dad?" you say as you turn around and see Tony half smiling at you. He walked over to you and Peter, took a spring roll that was in the to-go box and started eating it.
"The rest of the guys want to come over and see you again. Ya know, now that your awake....and can actually talk to them" Tony said with his mouth half full.
You looked at Tony with your mouth full of fried rice, and started to nod your head. You really haven't seen or talked to the avengers that much, but knowing that they came to see you, when you were in the 'ER' made you smile.
"Jarvis? Tell them, they can come up." Tony said before he finished his spring roll. And an A.I voice was heard saying,"Yes sir."
You could hear the lift moving and making a quiet 'ding' sound as it passed each floor.
When it got to the floor that you were on, the doors opened to reveal, Thor, Bruce, Clint, Natasha, Steve, and even Bucky and Loki. You looked over and saw everyone, not trying to hold back your smile.
"Hello lady (y/n), you have been asleep for quite some time." Thor was the first to speak, as his loud voice echoed across the room.
"Nah. C'mon, a week at most isn't a long time." you told him as you two hugged, while Thor and the rest of the team had a weird expression on their face.
"Its good to see you again kid." Clint said as he gave you a side hug, while digging in his pocket for something. "I brought you a little gift, its from everyone." He said, as he handed you a necklace with two pictures inside it. One was a picture of the whole team, including Bucky, Loki, Peter and Pepper, and the other picture was you, with a small metal piece attached that read,"we're your family, and your heart"
"Thank you Clint. And thank you guys." you said as Bruce walked up to you and put his hands on your shoulders,"Don't scare us like that! Tony and the team cried for a week straight." He said pulling you into a hug, as you two laughed.
A week? Guess I was out a lot longer then I thought. You think to your self.
"Hey Nat." you say making Natasha look at you with tears in her eyes, the whole team looks at you and then her in complete shock. "Don't scare us like that. Please." she said while hugging you tightly and wiping her eyes. "I won't. I promise." you tell her as she pulls away and puts her hands on your arms,"Good. *clears throat* Did Tony make coffee?" She said, changing the subject. You look at Steve as he pats your shoulder and walks off. Oh well, pickers can't be choosers You tell yourself as you walk over to two people you havent meet before and look at them, one was dressed in green and gold armour with long black hair, and the other one, had a metal arm, long brown hair, and was dressed in a similar outfit like Nat's. "Your Loki? Correct?" you ask the tall man with black hair. "Yes, I am. And you are?" he asked back with a sassy tone, already knowing your name, but not wanting to give away that you have in the 'ER' for about a year.
"(Y/n) Stark." you say with a warm smile and continue to look at the man. "Your the god of mischief? Who can do magic, right?" you say with interest.
"Y-yes. I am." Loki said, a little taken back, having never been acnowedeged as anyone other then 'Thor's brother'.
" I've heard my dad and Thor talk about you,"
Oh great here it comes. Loki though to himself.
"And you sound amazing." you say with a hint of wonder.
"T-thank you." Loki said before giving you a hug and walking to meet the others.
"Hi (y/n) Stark." the man with the metal arm said.
"Hi." you say with a friendly wave.
"I heard my friend, Steve and you don't really get along." He said playfully with a smile.
"Sometimes, it all depends on if its his time of the month." you say with a small laugh at the end. "Isn't that right?" the man said with an agreeable laugh before extending his metal arm outward to shake yours, which you gladly exepted.
"James, but you can call me Bucky." He said while shaking your hand,"(y/n) but you can call me (n/n)." you say before letting go of Bucky's hand.
"It was great to meet you, (n/n). I hope to see you around." Bucky said before returning with the rest of the group. You sat back on the couch with Peter when your dad called you over to the kitchen. You flipped over the back of the couch and met your dad, along with everyone else in the kitchen. "What's up?" you ask cheerfully. "I have to tell you something?" Tony said. And you could tell by his expression that it was breaking his heart.
"What is it?" you asked, beginning to worry.
"You weren't asleep for a week." he said with his head hanging low. "You were asleep f-for a year." Tony said. As your face filled with shock.
"There was massive trauma to your chest, head, along with other parts of your body, that caused you to stay in a coma for almost a year. After the 14th day, your body had about a 2% chance of waking up. We thought you were gone. I had to make modifications to your arc reactor so I could identify if your body was having any complications without having to waste time, that could possible injure you." Tony said as tears started to form in your eyes.
"How much have I missed?" you asked your dad as tears started to fall from your face onto your jacket. "Not to much." Tony said as you started to mumble. "I can't hear you Mouse. You need to speak louder." Tony said walking closer to you.
"I wasn't ment to live! I was ment to die! I wasted a year of everyone time, especially yours. You were worried about me, you placed a device in my chest to keep me alive and make sure I was healthy. You took time out of your day, to come up with over 1000 possible combinations of things that could have been wrong. You all spent time,worrying about someone, who was a nobody all her life!...and...an-." you were cut off by Tony hugging you and saying,"Don't ever think that! You are the most important thing in this world, to me. And I couldn't live with myself if you died. I wouldn't be able to do it." Tony said, but was stoped by his own tears pouring down his face as he hugged you. "I love you to much, to let you die." Tony finnaly said.
"I love you too dad!" you say through your tears as you become aware that the rest of the team is watching you.
"We all love you (y/n)...even Steve." Clint said as he darted his eyes towards Steve, which made you look at the blonde soldier who had tears in his eyes as well.
"Thank you. All of you." you said before wiping your eyes and exclaiming,"How about we watch a movie? I think we have some catching up to do." you say with a light laugh before exiting the kitchen, and taking a handful of refrigerator magnets with you.
You sat in between Loki and Bucky, with Peter sitting on the ground in front of you, as you played with his hair.
"Um? Bucky?" you asked the man while everyone was trying to agree on a movie.
"Yes,(n/n)?" Bucky answered as you looked his dead in the eyes and asked,
"Have you ever put refrigerator magnets on your arm?" as you open your hand to reveal, several magnets. Bucky then looks at you takes a few from your hand and extends his metal arm.
"Honestly, I have always wanted to do this." Bucky said as you and him started putting magnets on his arms.
"How many do you think we can fit on here?" you ask with pure curiosity.
"I don't know, maybe 60?" he says, unasure.
By the time everyone had agreed on a movie they say you and Bucky putting magnets on his arms, and the room went completely silent.
Tony took a few pictures trying to capture as many moments as he could with you. While everyone else just watched.
By the time you and Bucky were done, there was a total of 86 magnets on his arm. You looked around and saw everyone watching you, and started to heat up, a bright red colour.
"Now that you two are done, with, what ever it was you two were doing, can we watch the movie now?" Nat asked with a chuckle as you nodded your head, and began to watch,(2nd favourite movie). As you started to fall asleep with your head on Loki's shoulder.
