I'm not that bad.(Tony Stark x Adoptive Reader)

You hugged your dad and your eyes started to close as Tony picked you up.
"Don't worry Mouse, I've got you." Tony said as he held you while you fell asleep.
When you woke up Tony, Peter, Pepper and yourself were back in New York.
You were laying on the couch, Petter was watching Tv, Pepper was talking on the phone, and Tony was no where to be seen.
You slung your feet off the couch and started to walk to the elevator when you heard a crash come the room.
Everyone's eyes looked up at the ceiling, knowing they wouldn't see anything. You ran to the window balcony and jumped off, catching yourself and flying to the roof.
When you got there, all you could see was dust and smoke.
Pepper and Peter came up to the roof, running after you.
"(Y/n)! Get inside, now!"
Tony yelled as you felt a sharp pain in your right shoulder.
"I told you, I would get you."
You heard a familiar voice say.
"And I told you, I'm not yours anymore!" you yelled back, just before you were grabbed by the throat and thrown across to the next building.
You couldn't see much. But what you could see made you shutter. You saw Tony fighting against your real dad...and winning.
Not to your surprise.
You were snapped out of your gaze by a punch to the mouth.
You layed on the ground and say Peter carrying Pepper over to you with his webs and Tony trailing right behind.
Peter aided Tony on tying up the mans legs and pushing him off the building. But before he fell, he tried to grab a hold of Pepper but ended up pushing her off the 200 floor building instead.
And all you could do was watch as

Pepper fell.

"NO!" Tony yelled as his screaming pierced your ears and broke your heart.  You have never heard him yell with such a sadness. While snapping out of your gaze for the 2nd time and without thinking you let go of Peters hand and fall. Force flying towards the ground as you try to catch Pepper. "(Y/n)!" Peter and Tony yelled simotaniosly as you kept flying, trying to catch up with Pepper. Time seemed to go by slowly getting slower and slower as you flew, the lights were a blur and Tony and Peter looked like a red dots on top of the burning building. "PEPPER! GIVE ME YOUR HAND!" you yell reaching for her. You grab her hands and start to slow down, about 20 feet above the ground. But you were going to fast. There was a giant steel pipe sticking out from the ground where you and Pepper were going to land.

When you got about 6 feet above the ground it was to late. You were going so fast the pipe went through your chest and hitting your heart, making 5 small, deep, life threatening cuts along your heart. You drop Pepper emedietly as she looks up at you and screams while she drops the 6 feet to the ground and go to her knees. He quickly pulls out her phone and calls 911, while telling you "your going to be fine." with tears in her eyes. You couldn't see anything, everything was getting darker and blurry. You felt dizzy and sleepy, but fought the feelings and stayed awake. "Peter! Use your webs and grab (y/n)!! I'm going to cut the pipe!" Tony yelled as he flew down the ground and hovered about 3 feet above it. "Already on it mister Stark!" Peter yelled as he launched one of his webs at you and the other to a fire escape. "I got her Mister Stark!" Peter said with tears in his eyes. "Ok! Hold on to her!" Tony yells as he starts to cut the pipe that is stuck in your chest. As Tony is cutting the pipe you feel the vibrations trailing up and going to your heart. You scream out in agonizing pain, which makes Tony stop immediately, and fly up to you. Tony removes his nano tech helmet and one glove, and starts to wipe your tears away. "I know Mouse. I know sweetheart. Its going to be ok." Tony says as his voice strained and his eyes fill with water. "It hurts so much." you gasp out as you grab the pipe, that is still in your chest. "Ill make it go away sweetheart. I promise." Tony says, now bawling his eyes out as he puts back on his helmet and glove. Tony continues to cut the pipe as you scream and beg for him stop. But he can't. He has to save you.

Peter is still holing on to you as he tries to block out your screaming. "Please hurry Tony!!" Peter yells, not wanting to hear you scream in pain anymore. You could barley hear Peter and barley see Tony, you start to get verry tired and couldn't keep your eyes open anyore. You let your eyelids fall and then, you pass out.

Tony finished cutting the pipe and Peter lowered you slowly to the ground. "We need to get her to the tower!" Peter yelled in a panic. "The ambulance won't get here in time Tony. Hurry, take her to the tower." Pepper said as she gently pushed Tony, giving him a sign that he needs to go. Tony looked at Pepper and gave her a faint, loving smile before he flew away with you in his arms and with Peter following right behind him.

When you woke up you instantly threw up extra blood that made its way to your throat. You sit up super fast and grab your chest out of extreme pain. But there wasn't skin there. It was metal......a reactor. Just like Tony. You look at your arm and pull out the IV tubes, heart monitor cord on your finger, and took off your bandages around your arm. You stood up and stumbled to a mirror Tony kept in the "ER" he had in the tower. Your breasts were covered by bandages and the arc reactor sat above them. You look in the mirror and notice the reactor is green, and not blue, like Tony's. You look at the mirror in shock,

and start tracing the outline of the reactor.

"Dad saved my life." you wisper.
