I'm not that bad.(Tony Stark x Adoptive Reader)

While Tony was out of the room packing and on the phone Pepper you looked around the small medical room. There wasn't anything that really caught your eye. While you were in your daze you were broken out of it by yelling in the other room.

"What did you do with Agent Coulson!?" yelled a penetrating, gruff voice from the other room. "Your out of luck. I don't know where they took him." said Tony with some sass to his tone. "They?!" asks the other voice. "Yeah. They. As in your 2 spy agents." Tony said while walking closer to the man. "Stark. We need the girl. Her powers are unstable." said the mysterious man. "How do know about her 'power problem'?" Tony said while putting air quotes around the last two words. "Tony we can help her." the man added. "Yea right! Help? Is that what you call torturing, now a days, Fury?" Tony said almost yelling. 'Fury? Like..Nick fury?' you thought in your head. "Listen Tony. I know this girl means a lot to you so...we won't take her away from you."

Your heart nearly skipped a beat you were so happy at what Furry said.

"Y-you won't?" Tony said with a small stutter. "No. But you have to help her control her powers. Or. Get rid of them......I know she means a lot to you....and this is the first time in years you arn't wollowing around in pity." said Furry half joking. "When I found out what they were doing to her I couldn't take her back to s.h.i.e.l.d." Furry added as he looked towards the medical room. "You don't have to pack. Just...be careful. And Tony? I do care about your little family you have." Nick said as he walked to the elevator and left. As soon he was gone Tony's knees droped to the floor and he started to cry tears of joy into his hands. "I get to keep my baby girl." Tony said quietly, but you could still hear him. You moved your legs over the side of the bed and started to walk over to Tony, even though he told you not to get up you just had to go and see him. When you got to him he was sitting on the floor with one knee brought up to his chest and the other extended outward. "D-dad?" you asked while stuttering and shaking like crazy. When Tony heard your voice he stood up immediately and hugged you, while tears steamed down his face.

Tony was trying to talk but you couldn't hear him correctly. "What was that?" You ask still hugging Tony, wanting him to repeat what he said. He pulls away from the hug, gives you a soft smile while tears still trickled down his face.
