I'm not that bad.(Tony Stark x Adoptive Reader)

"Are you sure?" Nat asked, being the first to speak.
"We just don't want something bad to happen." she quickly added.
"Look, we know your concerns. That's why we kept it on the down low for so long." Steve told the whole team as he held Tony's hand.
"I think its a good idea." you said as everyone in the room turned and looked at you, all with different expressions.
"Yea. I mean think about it. Captain America and Tony Stark...gay? The two symbols of America, Peace and Power, being so open and comfortable about a topic that some people still find 'weird'." you say as everyone just stares at you with open mouths and wide eyes.
"And Steve's from the 40's, c'mon.....he probably barely stared understanding that its not illegal anymore and he can be himself.....and if that doesn't help people start to realise that its not a choice, I don't know what will." you say as Steve and Tony look at you with wide smiles.
"Thank you." Steve said sincerely as he held Tony close.
"I also think its a great idea." Thor said as he relaxed in his seat. "Love is love and it can't be denied." He added as he smiled at Tony and Steve.
"Then its settled....we go public tomorrow." Tony stated as him and Steve turned to walk out the door, and motioned for you to follow, you sprung up and ran to catch up with them.
You, Tony and Steve all walked in silence before you spoke.
"Where are we going?" you asked, as you trailed behind the two.
"We have something to talk to you about, and we thought it would be better if we did so in private." Steve said, as Tony turned his head and winked.
'Weird but not the weirdest thing Steve has ever said.' you tell yourself as the three of you arrive in front of Steve's bedroom door.
"C'mon.'' Steve said in a friendly manner, as he put one hand on your back and lead you inside, along with Tony.
You saw that there was 2 chairs, a writing desk, a bed, and a bedside table inside the room.
"You sure do pack light." You tell Steve as you continue to observe the room.
Steve smiled and nodded slightly as you sat in the chair that wasn't pushed into the desk, trying to be respectful of Steve and not mess up the perfectly made bed. A few seconds had passed by and all Steve and Tony could do was look at each other, in a way that read, 'who's going to ask/tell her?' so you decided to break the silence yourself.
"So...? Am I in trouble?" you ask as Tony looks at you with a 'dad' expression (you know what I'm talking about).
"No? Is there a reason you should be?" Tony asks, going into 'dad mode' as you just smile and relax in the chair.
"No. I just hate awkward silence." you say proudly as Steve covers his mouth and laughs.
"It wasn't even awkward." Tony said as Steve continues to laugh.
"Well it was for me. When it gets quiet for more then 10 seconds, I consider that weird." You say as Steve's laughter dials down, and he speaks up.
"She's kinda right Tony. It was getting kinda weird." Steve said as Tony looked at his shoes and shook his head in play full manner.
"Well then, I guess you don't want to hear the news." Tony says, playing around.
"What news?" you ask as you put your elbows on your knees, getting excited about what ever Tony was about to say.
Tony sat on the bed, along with Steve who followed right after.
"We are going to be using the tower, for strictly Avenger, and S.H.I.E.L.D business. We can come and go, and stay if we need to. But it won't be our, permanent residence anymore." Tony said as your faced turned from relaxed to shocked.
"What do mean?" you asked, frantically.
"What I'm saying is, that me, you, and Steve are going to be living, in an actual house." Tony finished, as your mind started to race with questions, when at random you spoke out.
"This is happening really fast, don't you think?" You asked both Tony and Steve, as they were a little taken back your response.
"I know it seems that way (y/n). But you have to remember, Tony and I have been together for four years. And we have had allot of talks about this. About starting a family, living together, being open about our relation ship, and about you." Steve said as you looked at him and then at Tony.
"What do you mean, Me?" you asked, hoping the conversations about you weren't bad.
"About having a little girl, a smart, kind, skilled, beautiful, and amazing daughter. And when Tony told me he adopted you, I was concerned. But I know now, that he made the right decision." Steve said, as you were at a loss for words.
"I-I don't know, how I feel about all this." You say, starting to get overwhelmed, as you run out of the room, and straight to the stairs, not bothering to take the lift.
"(Y/N)!" Tony called as you ran out the door. Steve looked at Tony with a sad expression on his face.
"I'm so sorry, Tony. I didn't think-" Steve began as Tony stood in the doorway.
"Tony? Are you ok baby?" Steve asked, as he say Tony start to tear up.
"Yea. Never better." Tony replied as Steve came up from behind and hugged Tony, placing a soft, gentle kiss on his neck.
"It's ok. She must have got overwhelmed, we can go find her, and talk this over." Steve replied, as he continued to hug Tony, and started playing with his hair.
"Yea. I guess we can. And she was kinda right. She barley found out we are together, after four years, and we barley told her that we wanted the three of us to live together, alone. She probably was overwhelmed." Tony said as he turned around, and kissed Steve on the lips.
"Now lets go find our girl." Tony added as him and Steve made their way to the elevator.
