'Going to look at a new house!' you yelled with excitement in your head.
You look up at Tony and then at Steve, giving them both a smile, as the three of you walked out of the elevator, and through the lobby.
Steve held the door for both, you and Tony. As you walked through you noticed a sworn of people outside the building, causing your breath to pick up.
"Hey, hey. Don't pay them any attention. Tony will handle this, he always does." Steve said as he helped you to the car, holding the door open as you got in, trying to block the people who were taking pictures and asking so many questions, causing your head to hurt.
When Steve got in the car, he sat beside you, putting one arm around your shoulder.
"You ok?" he asked, looking you in the eyes. You nod your head, as you try and calm down.
"Yea. Just....just a little overwhelmed." you breathe out, as you lean on Steve's shoulder, waiting for your dad to get in the car.
When Tony finally got into the car, Steve shot him a look that read 'If you did something stupid I swear, I will kick you out of the car'
You saw this reaction and started to laugh.
"Sorry. Sorry. You guys just fight like an old married couple.....you didn't even have to use words." you laugh out, as you hear chuckling come from the front seat.
"And Happy agrees." you giggle out, as Tony eyes you, you try to put on a straight face but failed, letting each giggle slip out.
Happy put the car in gear, and started to drive, when you were done laughing, you saw Tony and Steve were staring at each other, having a full conversation without even talking, as you sat uncomfortably, uneasy, in the middle of them.
"So!" you exclaimed and clapped your hands, getting Tony and Steve's attention.
"This house? What's its like?" you ask, trying to break the awkwardness that hung in the air.
"You'll see when we get there. Steve and I put extra time and effort into choosing it." Tony said, as you smiled at his words, letting your eyes wonder out the window at the beautiful scenery.
It wasn't like the city: loud, dull, and made of concrete.
This place was big, green, and beautiful. With tall trees planted around the house, and a (fave colour) hammock tied between two of them.
"This is awesome." you said, as you continued to look around.
When you approached the house, you noticed that is wasn't very big, compared to the tower.
It was a double story house, that was more like a cabin, that had a brick chimney extending from the left side of the roof, a big porch that had a few chairs sitting outside, and to the far right was a separate garage-type building, that had a metal cutout sign that read 'Scrapyard workshop'.
"Well don't just sit here. Tell us what you think." Steve said, as the car came to a stop, you opened the door, and walked to the house, running your fingers along the perfectly sanded and varnished porch railing.
You looked at Tony and Steve with big eyes, that were now glossed over.
"Dad?" you asked, as Tony tosses you a set of keys, as he took Steve's hand in his and walked along the fresh cut grass, leading to the porch.
You took the key that had the same name as the doorknob, slid it in, and unlocked the door.
You gently swung the door open, as you were greeted with a citrusy, pine smell as a not to bright, not to dim, light was shining all throughout the room.
To your right was a big open area, that got closed off by two couches surrounding a fireplace that had TV hanging above the mantle.
In the center was a glossy, wooden staircase, that led to the second floor.
And to your left was a smaller area, that had a medium sized wooden Island sitting in the middle, with a sink connected to a counter that connected the stove and fridge that ran along the back wall.
You stood in the door way as you felt a hand placed on both your left and right shoulder, causing you to jump a little bit.
"Its beautiful, isn't it?" Steve asked, as you looked up at him, nodding your head as you did so.
"I-it-I don't." You stutter out, not knowing the correct words to say, to explain how happy you were.
"Go on. There's more. Go find your room." Steve told you as you looked at him with a shaky smile.
My own room.
You told yourself, filling up with excitement and happiness at the sound of Steve telling you this.
Steve, really want me to be here.
You add to yourself, as you made your way to, and up the stairs.
"Lets see what surprises await me." you tell yourself, happily, as you opened the second door to your right, which had a small hanging sign on the door that read "Mouse's Room"
You mentally facepalmed, knowing that you would be taking down the sign and placing it somewhere else, inside the room.
You opened the door, as was greeted with a large bed, that had a purple blanket on it, followed by four beautifully white pillows.
On the left of the room, was a beanbag that was laying up against a long dresser, that was filled with cloths and other items of interest.
You sat down, placed your head in your hands and began to quietly cry.
Steve and Tony noticed your room door was open and walked in.
"(Y/n) what wrong sweetheart!?" Tony and Steve ask, frantically, as you get up and run over to them, hugging them both.
"Thank you!" you say, as you bury your head in your father's chest, pulling them closer to you.
"Thank you so much! I love it!" you tell them, as they hold you close, smiles spreading across their faces.
"I love you both so much." you cry out, as your dads say simultaneously,
"We love you too."
