When she picked up the phone, he got straight to the point.

"Alright, Pup," His face appeared on the screen. "It's currently 1:45 AM. That means you have about 6 hours to sleep, understand?"

She smacked her teeth before laughing as well. "Alright, I won't hang up. Anything for you, Daddy." She snuggled up in her bed.

"Okay, goodnight then. I'll be playing video games so rest real good."

She couldn't figure out what possessed Johnny to be so nice towards her. He was definitely changing, something new must've washed over him.

Maybe he really was starting to care about her.
