"I'm gonna be honest, I'm not even sure he's a guy! I have basically no information except that I'm flying out tomorrow to meet them," she groans, glaring at the FaceTime screen.
"Don't be so angry, Cas! It's like an adventure! How's your brother by the way," her friend winks into the camera.
"Good. Told me to tell you he's going to put all this acting stuff aside because he's in love with you."
"Are you joking," her friend's eyes glass over as she awaits the response.
"No, Annie. I'm kidding. You guys haven't talked in years," Cassandra laughs at her friend.
"You don't have to be an ass about it!" She responds.
"Oh, c'mon! There's so many guys around here. My apartment will be empty for who knows how long, so just bring them here if you don't wanna take them to your aunt's house."
"Thank you, I guess?" The two girls laugh.

"Sounds good, have fun on your trip!"
"Thanks love!"
Cas locks her phone and puts it aside as she resumes packing. Not sure of where her travels will take her, she packs all types of clothing into the two bags she's allowed to take. She sits folding her shorts for a couple of minutes until she's startled by an incoming text message:

She smiles at the text and responds "sounds good, thanks 💙."
Cassandra loves her older brother, but can't help but feel jealous at times. When she was a child, she was the one who dreamed of becoming an actress. She was the one who worked hard, practiced, and took classes to increase her chances and her talent. When her big brother got his big break before she did, Cas gave up on her dream. Forever she would have to be known as "Jeremy's sister." When he changed his last name to their grandfather's first name, she hoped she might have a chance to continue her acting career, but she never got to it.
As she grew older, she let it bother her less and less, and is now thankful that she still talks to her brother and is able to work in the job she has. But there is still one thought that always comes to her head time and time again,
