"Your comment at dinner was unnecessary," Josh grumbles, flicking his cigarette off the balcony. Cas rolls her eyes.

"Yeah, unnecessarily true," she spits. Josh laughs while exhaling, his anger spilling out.

"How is it true? You think I'm in love with Lily?" He responds, taking a step towards the girl. Cassie frowns at his body language.

"It kind of seems like it," she snaps. Josh clenches his fists.

"Why should that matter to you anyway?" He asks, his tone fuming. Cassie, caught in her own guilt, shrugs in response. "You don't know?" He asks in sarcastic awe.

"I think I deserve to know about that kind of stuff," She bites back.

"Why? Because your my assistant," he mocks. "Recently, I seem to be fine on my own." He crosses him arms, continuing to scowl at the girl in-front of him. She grunts in responds.

"Oh really?" Cassie copies his posture, crossing her arms as well.

"We haven't talked in days, and I've been doing everything right. I can take care of myself. I don't need some mother figure that's also my age to be bossing me around and shit!"

"You'd crumble without me, Josh," she glances out at the shore, not being able to look at him anymore.

"Without you doing what? Fucking other guys?" He barks. Cas can't help but whip her head to glare at him.

"You really had to bring that up?" She cries, dropping her arms.

"Yeah, I did," he snaps. "Since you're running out of guys in the apartment to hookup with, you might as well just go fuck one of the extras from the movie." The girl's eyes go wide as she stares at Josh with a gaping mouth.

"This is bullshit," she laughs vigorously to herself, now her true rage showing. "You're a fucking idiot!"

"How am I the idiot in this situation?" He snarls at Cas. She hesitates before speaking, knowing that the next few things she says could ruin so much more than just their friendship.

"The entire time while I was with Hugh...I was thinking of you!" She shouts at Josh.

"Yeah, okay-,"

"I imagined I was doing it all with you! The kissing, the touching, the-,"

"Okayyy," he groans before she gets too into detail. He looks around, not knowing what to say next, but his fury still present.

"Hugh meant nothing to me Josh...I just wanted you! Only you!" She screams at the boy, steam fuming from her ears.

Josh marches towards the girl, reaching out and grabbing her head. Cas fears for her life for a moment as his hands engulf her skull, but doesn't flinch at his sudden gesture. Before she knew it, his lips came crashing onto hers as he hungrily kissed her, as if the choice was life or death. It's nothing like either of them have ever experienced. She melts to his touch, but he remains forceful. Pushing her body against his hips, she begins to kiss him with the same fluidity and power, both of them so angry they don't understand how to control themselves.

Pulling away, they try to catch their breath. They stare at each other in silence for a moment before Cas turns and heads back inside, turning on the sink and continuing to wash the dishes from dinner. She can't even comprehend what just happened, so she tries to convince herself that it didn't. Josh is left on the balcony, confused but satisfied as he finally got what he's been waiting for.

But both parties want so much more than what they got...
