A child, that's what she was. Barely even eleven when they sent her, along with a bunch of delinquents down into the unknown, in hopes of a second chance. To a world that had finally rewritten the mistakes of its past, and gave the ungrateful habitants that once resides upon its lush soul, a second chance.

But they weren't alone, there were others, 'Grounders' were what they called them. A ruthless and cunning kind of people, left over from the people that survived when the bombs hit. Somehow they had remained, unscathed and living.
A war broke out between Sky Kru and the Grounders, almost resulting in the remaining 100 delinquents demise. Then came The Mountain Men, people who had resided in a bunker for 100 years; they didn't seem bad, until they were. Using the delinquents and any other person from the ARK as a source to gain the radiation immunity the people on the ARK. The process killing some of their people, while leaving the others alive, having to live with the pain they endured.

Along the line of many mistakes and peace, came ALLE, an AI. She took over most of the grounders and Sky Kru. During that time, some of them endured their most painful memories, but somehow in all the chaos they made it out. To only find that their world was on the brink of extinction, once again.
The nuclear power plants that were designed to stand for 100 years began to crumble and melt down, which brought on the death wave.

After a while, they all banded together. Although some, like Bellamy, Clarke and Thea split from the group, becoming sick of the fighting and war, to lead a half decent life. By that time they had found out about the death wave, and it was all ruined. They were separated, then the wave hit. Thea, remained locked in a lighthouse, radiation seeping in through the cracks, almost killing her in the process.

But she survived, night blood was her secret. Her mother experimented on herself to subdue the radiation poisoning she had been experiencing, and somehow she did it, thanks to Becca's old research; she concocted a serum. Along the line she had her daughter, Thea, which she too injected with the serum. Then died along with her father, leaving a small child without a family.

That was until Mavrick Greymont, a family friend of her parents, he insisted to take her into his house. Knowing that her mother and father would have wanted that, to have their daughter safe and with people she knew.
They treated her like their own, making sure she never felt alone or scared, ever again.

Now she stands in a desert, filled with nothing but sand, alone. Thinking of the families she once had, her parents who died because of stealing food, and her other father, who knew too much and was floated for it. Those thoughts made her heart ache, like it had been ripped out leaving this big hole that could not be filled. That made her feel small, and insignificant. Because retrospectively she had always felt like this, and that scared, the loneliness that this world had become.
