The next morning, Queen Eadlyn called Prince Jacen into her office immediately after breakfast. As Jacen settled down into one of the lounge chairs dotting the room, his mother called his attention to her. "Jacen, honey? Do you like the girls? Or are you biding your time until you can send them all away one by one? Because if that is the case, please tell me because that is what I wanted to do the first time I saw my boys."

"I do like them, but I'm not sure how I'm going to narrow it down to 1." Jacen murmured.

"Well, right now, you need to worry about your first elimination. You said you would have at least 1 date with each girl before the first elimination. Tell me what you want to do. Do you want to have the elimination happen on the Report, or do you want to do it privately and just make an announcement on the Report?" Queen Eadlyn smiled softly, already knowing what his answer would be.

"Option 2, definitely. That way we can quickly mention the names of the ladies who left, then move on."

"Alright, then I'll tell you what. I will sit with you while you come up with a date schedule. I happen to know a bit about what girls like. I was a girl once."

"Okay, Mother." Jacen said, rolling his eyes.

Eadlyn ignored him, continuing on. "Well, first, you need to decide when the elimination will be. There is a Report in 3 days. Definitely not by then, right?"

"No."

"Right, so the week after?"

"Probably," Jacen responded.

"When do you want the elimination to happen?" Queen Eadlyn asked.

"I think on Thursday." Jacen glanced down at the list of names on the paper in front of him, and quickly covered it up with his arm.

"So you have a week and 2 days. That means 8 days to have 16 dates. How about two every day?

"That sounds fine." Jacen studied the signet ring on his mother's hand, before looking her in the eye.

"Let's do them in order of how you chose them. Unless their is some specific way you want to do this?"

"No that is perfect. It will help me remember them better." Jacen said.

"How about doing one date after breakfast and one after dinner? That gives you time to get some work in during the day, but if you can't, I understand. Today is Tuesday, so starting tomorrow, we have 8 days. Here should be the schedule:

Wednesday:                                                                                                                                                                               Kimberly and Lacey

Thursday:                                                                                                                                                                                    Josephine and Amberly

Friday:                                                                                                                                                                                          Carlee and Emmalina

Saturday:                                                                                                                                                                                    Nikki and Kelly

Sunday:                                                                                                                                                                                        Jenna and Malia

Monday:                                                                                                                                                                                       Janessa and Christine

Tuesday:                                                                                                                                                                                      Emily and Jayla

Wednesday:                                                                                                                                                                               Hayley and Celeste

Then after that, you can gather them in a room and send home the girls in a nice way. I did not do this, and I was ridiculed and people thought I was not fit to be a queen."

"I understand. Thank you mother." Jacen said, giving his mother a kiss on the cheek and exiting the room.
