Stefan POV
After finding out about Elizabeth's death and Finn dying and to make things worse Alex has been laying low once again, the kids and the Mikaelson's have yet to find a cure for Finn he's been laying in bed for two weeks. He has been slowly dying and keeps asking for Elizabeth and nobody has told him how she died and that she was a vampire.

"twelve more hybrids dead," Damon said entering the living room

"what?" I asked confused

"Alex killed twelve more hybrids, she found out what the kids have been doing" he said

"that they bring back and hide them?" I said

"yeah she figured it out and she's making sure they don't come back so we need to find her fast and get her emotions back on before she wipes out all of Mason's hybrids" he said

"and how do you suppose we do that?" I asked

"mom has an aunt and a cousin that she doesn't know about" Isabella said entering the room

"what are you talking about?" Damona asked confused

She has a letter in her hand as she walks towards me handing it to me "what's this?" I asked

"a letter she wrote mom that she hasn't opened yet" she said

I look at the letter and Damon walks over and sees it before we look up at Isabella "we need to find them" I said

"already on it, but nobody seems to know where she is" she said

"have you done locator spells? ask around? she was born in Mystic Falls somebody must know something" I said

"nothing on her still looking but I did find her son Derek" she said

"how?" Damon asked

"I was looking through the Gilbert family records and found information on him. Right after he was born he was taken away by a couple name Hunter and Lisa Walker who adopted him. They lived in Maryland but the son lives here in Mystic Falls" she said showing us a file "this is his birth records" she said

Damon and I look at them seeing that his birth name is Derek Adam Martin-Gilbert born July 22, 1992 and then see his birth parents mother Genevieve Gilbert and father Adam Martin. I see the other papers having his current address and his adopted parents name Hunter and Lisa Walker

"let's go find him" I said putting the file down and walking out

"alright" Damon said

"your probably going to need my magic so I'll go too" she said

"of course your coming nobody told you to stay" I said

"okay dad got it" she said laughing

Isabella POV
After showing my dad and uncle Damon Derek's birth files and his address it was a good idea because they need to know that my mom has more family out there that she doesn't know about. We pull up to Derek's house and all the lights are out but there is a car in the driveway so I'm guessing he's home

"okay so he's home that's good I'm just going to ring the bell and tell him we need to talk" I said

"great plan just tell him the whole truth about his family" my uncle said sarcastically

"Damon" my dad said

I sigh before getting out of the car "just wait here" I said and close the door walking towards the front door and ring the doorbell and it takes about a few seconds before the door opens and it's Derek

"Derek hi I'm Isabella and I'm your cousin's daughter, " I said

"how do you know my name? why are you here?" he asked confused
